The Paladin Experiment.

We all know how skilless and lazy mode Paladin is right now (Even worse than TR. Because with TR, you actually need to be careful with your rotations sometimes).

So to prove how it doesn't require much to play a Pally. I'm going to have my 7 year old little brother play a Paladin in Domiantion for a while. He already knows the basic controls of NeverWinter (Walking around, QER for encounters, press 1 for Divine Protector, etc etc. He even knows the class name: Paladin!)

I'm actually dead serious in this. And it will be recorded on video

Stay tuned!

Its not hard to tell how bad SW's state is, its like, every class has top 40 players in the ladder, but for SW there is only 17..... only 17 that made it into top 1000..... they really need to at least fix avalanche so SW can be playable, then make adjustments to the class so they can be more competitive, at the moment SW is just way too disadvantaged... :(

Not sure who that is, but yes I have came across good SWs that are really strong (about 3 of them I recall, exclude the bug users), however that doesn't change the fact that this class is still disadvantaged. I vouch for a buff for SWs. Someone mentioned about including debuffs to SWs' skills/attacks which I feel would be a good start! :)

Can't wait XD I'm getting tired of hitting on paladins and watching their health not move. I have a video somewhere of 3 people hitting a paladin, all dps classes and their health not budging ahah

Why don't you try a trickster rogue experiment? Your brother will kill a lot of ppl in the process, hitting them with bugged shocking execution while under the effect of wheel of the elements. Or control wizard experiment, burning them down, protected with shield on tab. You'll spare him a lot of frustration this way.

Because you have to manage your cooldowns and rotation as a TR, and you have to dodge around as a CW.

Paladin? Just press 7 beforehand for Sigil of the Devoted. Then go to node #2. Press 1 for Divine Protector. And then start spamming Binding Oath/Cleansing Touch/Templar's Wrath when needed.

Paladin's a bigger joke than TR.

Make both experiments and watch the difference. He will be annoyed by the pally and exited by the rogue.

Gotta agree with you, kids cannot differentiate between Funny and Rude.

Funny is only if someone makes a joke that makes everyone laugh without offending anyone, if the words offended anyone, then its just Rude.

It doesn't matter how good he thinks he is in game, that doesn't change his maturity level.

Agree. A decent TR melts most pallies. Just got to get the jump and daze them / chain daze, don't let them get up BOath or DP, and if they do, just wait for it too run out before next attempt. A tank that deals as low overall damage as the paladin shouldn't be easy for just anyone to walk up and beat on them. if paladins did as much damage as GF. then I'd agree that they are WAY too tanky.

As it is I just feel that DP should be less effective in PVP (should only reduce the overall by 40% to paladin not 80%, Binding oath should proc its damage to paladin and around right away if you reactivate it while under its effects, and Lay on hands needs to either be a channeled over a few seconds heal. or have a longer casting time. But even as it is now unless massively out-geared I've been able to take down the majority of paladins I've seen.
People are way too negative, Why cant we just all get along.

actually, any 7 years old child can play any classes on neverwinter, i'm not sure about what you wanna prove

Playing paladin isnt as brainless as you think, and everything is about build, i'm not sure that a 7ears old child will make the right build to survive ( i'm not talking about paying anything, just choosing the right build )

Yes, i'm paladin, but i also played a lot on tr and gwf, so i will mostly talk about tthose 3 classes

GWf doesnt require to be smart, but, is the most funny class to play
Tr are easy to play, it's the best beginner class, but you need to think fast when you are playing it, or you will be the pug's team
Op are easy to play, but you need a lot of self control, and you need to often change skill acording to the class(es) you are fighting, it requires to be a lil smart.

....... :* ...yea decent TR melts most low IL pallies...try melts 4k IL pallies...good luck

...LOL this is .....zzzzzz...why not just delete pally....cant tank (nerf DP ..BO and LoH etc..)cant damage lolz...how about SE got reduce the dmg 66%...piercing dmg nerf to 40%..
