NWN Game Client and Task Switching

Anyone having issues task switching in and out of NWN? I use a dual monitor setup, and I used to be able to leave game running on one, and just move mouse over to other screen to respond to emails, IMs, play music videos, but now, everytime I move off the NWN screen, client crashes. I use Windowed Fullscreen mode. Sometimes I run dual toons for harder efforts, GF and Cleric, and that seems to no longer work well if at all, I cannot move from one screen to the other without one or the other crashing. Worked fine until latest patch... I have 3 PCs to try it on, and it happens everywhere now.

    Oh great I have the same set-up. Wasn't online for very long this morning before I left for work so didn't have this happen to me but yeah I see another extended maintenance coming to our screens soon...

    I don't have the problem you mentioned. I also use dual monitor. One is the screen of the laptop which is where the browsers and other app runs. A bigger monitor is the one that runs NWN. I back and fore to 2 screen all the time. The smaller laptop screen is where I "host" the browser to monitor the profession progress of other alt characters.

    I keep getting 'GameClient.exe is not responding', I'll double check my virus and malware/spyware detection, but on 2 PCs at the same time? Not even used for similar function...

    Nope, same issues, even played with Processor affinity to see if I could force it onto more idle cores, and no joy, just seems to hang on task switching now...
