Here is a list of Quality of Life changes I'm suggesting regarding the topics of Looting and Currency. I only had a few suggestions for each, so I combined them. These are all independent tweaks intended to have no impact on the game's balance or economy, but improve the player experience by streamlining some of the more tedious parts of Neverwinter in order to maximize fun-time. Feel free to message me or reply if you'd like to discuss anything here; I've put a lot of thought into the pros and cons for most of these.
Looting:
- Auto-pickup enchantments dropped via the fey blessing enchantments like the Dragon's Hoard items already do.
- When walking over stackable items which are already in my inventory and not at max stack, automatically pick them up. For example, if I have 20 Potions of Healing and walk over another, it will be automatically picked up similar to lockboxes. If I have 0 or 99 Potions of Healing in one stack, it will NOT pick up any more automatically.
- When trying to pick up an item in combat with a full inventory, simply display the "Inventory Full." error message. Don't pop up the "You Find" window, which blocks my view in combat and takes focus away from the things trying to murder me.
Currency:
- Have Astral Diamonds account-wide, like Zen. This way we don't have to awkwardly use the zen/ad exchange to transfer AD between characters. Rough Astral Diamonds would be unaffected.
- In the currencies menu, include a "Bounty Currencies" section like the "PvP Currencies" or "Lockbox Currencies" currently. This would hold all the currencies that currently have descriptions beginning with "BOUNTY ITEM" (Blackdagger Insignia, Kessell's Sigil, etc)
- All of the non-bounty currencies left in the "Other Currencies" section (Winterkill Emblems, Neverwinter Renown, etc) should probably be under "Event Currencies" unless I'm missing some reason that they aren't. If this suggestion and the above Bounty Currencies one are both implemented, I don't see any need for the Other Currencies section to even exist.
