Today i wanna talk about how screwed pvp is because of this two kind classes.
I've seen lotsa complaints bout op being op, hr permastun, cw oneshotkillcommand....but...all theese guys are pretty much ok to me, and not cause my butt to set ablaze.
But dat swordmaster gwfs with bravery/steel defence, slam, stunlock and ofcourse negation chants are god dang rediculous and literraly unstopable a machine that moves with no limits or borders trully imune to all control or damage receiving none and giving slaps like they are freight train.
I play hr against em and most time i can handle but playing warlock or tr or cw, gosh u are dead before u know.
TRs....oh sir.....ohohhoho...some people maybe like bdsm and stuff but playing agains stealth whisperknifes are more then being sodomised or tortured or other stuff....it's like they put pins under your nails and press em one after another. It's fckn rolling sonic hedgehoges with complete cc imunity because of ITC and deflect of more then 50% and dodgerolls all da time with insane stamina regen and ofcourse stucking stealth retain passives from tenacious concelement + feat from exec tree. U hit em entering stealth u hit em after, they just do not lose stealth they maintain it going in and out slashing u with clouds and knifed and ofcourse disheart dot. and u know he is near but u cand target him nor can u catch him cause he is completely imune to all even more then gwf's sometimes.
I just cant understand what kinda fun can a person gain when going against that classes if u look at leaderbord u see at top premade top guild parties with rogues fckn whisperknifes.
I do not blame people for playing on ts pressing CC one after another but i blame game mechanics whish create such exploitable builds for this two classes, nothing more.
Hope all of em get ground nerfed to ashes oneday. (i even aint asking this for pallies cause most times a good controll can kill a op)

yap a complaint about swordmaster negation steely def stunlock gwfs.
i'm not playing DC...i play HR (root trapper), TR (scoundrel infiltrator), SW (lifesucking tempt soulbinder)
not saying that i lose to SM as TR but as a HR u sometimes can cause there is a bug that when a HR gets hit while changeing stance it's rolled back so u are pushing the button but stance doesn't change preventing rotation from going on.
SM stunlocker just needs to catch one in its rotation of flourish and crescendo and u are halfway to loosing half of ya hp.
As a scoundrel not stealth tr i lose to HR's and other rogues cause i dont need dat <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> build of dodge rolls in pve.
As a SW i lose to gwfs and tr, but can handle hr's sometime and all of the time cws gfs and ops and other dcs and sws cause they just do not have control and force to drain my life to sero cause i'm attacking em and this restores my health, with stunlock gwfs ant steth piersing whisperknifes it can't be done.
If you want to learn how to deal with TR i suggest you to make one and play some lvl70 pvp without OP gear, then you may realize that reaching top leaderboards is related mostly to huge gear gap.
Well i was a bit of reckless saying bout ITC in alla bunch of my wine bout whispers, cause yes it's a thing which disturbes bout infiltrators...and still nobody took stealth and dodgerolls from whispers.
About exec tree, got ya point.
And speaking of an advice to play pvp rogue....i got one spare whisper rogue, so maybe a can go pvp with it, but not scoundrel infiltrator as i can imagine.
Nah they are fine to mee and not cause pain. only if there are two of em on an enemy team dats be a disturbance.

BTW if you are gonna come here flame like this, show us some data or at least your gears.
1) WhisperKnives have ITC
2) There are TR's who use Tenacious Concealment
3) SwordMaster GWF is threatening and an "Unstoppable Force"
4) GWF's use Steel Defense with Crescendo. Which actually reduces the benefits of Steel Defense by a lot.
5) GWF's use Slam................................ SLAM! Let me say it again.... SLAM!

There is a scoundrel infiltrator within the first 5-6 pages of LB and he is NOT BiS (he is decently geared though)

Then, in that case a 2-sec or longer stun will ensue if WMS crits consecutively -- let's say twice -- followed up by a shot of Takedown + and then Flourish, which, together, is like another +4 seconds overall, and then if by some coincidence Crescendo is up, continue with crescendo for maybe +3.
So that's... 3s + 2s + 2s +3 = 10s stun.
Is it possible? Yeah. It is. I can do that. It's actually what I'm experimenting with currently.
....but wait, before starting the bashing, I'll make it clear that this is "theoretical" since currently, this build/tactic is unstable, relies on a lot of luck, and while very interesting and fun to play, requires perfect conditions and set-ups, and even with all that, a straight-up IV/Destroyer build can dish out much bigger burst damage with much easier powers to hit with. Instigators have a steady rate of damage mostly dependent on at-wills, which is not very inspiring in terms of efficiency because it's so goddarn difficult to reliably land WMS. Even the faster surestrike is hard to hit these days.
So as of current, the insigator tactics I mentioned above, isn't really combat worthy. It's more of a "for-fun" or "experimental purposes" prototype-ish thingy which doesn't do any really significant effect in combat to redeem the Swordmaster's place in PvP much.
Yeah, it's really fun to execute your carefully-planned stun-run. The damage is good too. But you can do this like maybe less than 5% of the entire time you spend in combat, not to mention other GWF builds can hit harder, in less time required, with more decisive results, more often....
Whatever the opening poster might have met, even if what he say did happen, it's still wild imaginations and exaggerations.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

GWF's are fine and quit crying about TR's. They have been at the bottom of the dung heap for many a module and now they can finally contribute. I'm fine with that, plus they are a fun fight for my HR, unlike GF and OP who I basically can't touch.
Every class does well against something and sucks against something. I'm ok with that too.
