The Web store was clearly superior in terms of interface to the in-game store, especially for buying costumes and powers. It had filters that vastly improved the shopping experience. Of course, you haven't released a lot of those recently. I mainly used the in-game store for spur-of-the-moment purchases.
Almost exactly what I was going to post. I still hope she'll drop back for a visit one day, when I happen to be on. And to the people taking over the wiki: you have a high standard and an honorable tradition to uphold. This wiki is as much part of the game as any lair, alert or combat mechanic. Make us proud.
Oh no. :frown: I remember when my father went into hospice care for his cancer. I'm praying for AngelOfCaine, and for his loved ones. I wish I could do more but I'm guessing that he's nowhere near Melbourne, Australia.
I would like to feel optimistic about this. I really would. But I cannot get past the fact that the response to a meeting about communicating better with players, is to not tell players anything specific about the meeting. That's... not exactly giving me the warm fuzzies.
Thanks for letting us know. It may not be what I was hoping for, but not knowing if it was coming back or not was worse. Please continue the communication. Thank you.
HECK NO! Hands off my hideout - it's a secret, and for several of my characters it's attached to the family home. Since my main nemesis is a murderous psychopath...:frown: If my Nemesis finds my hero's hideout, that also means (s)he knows their secret identity. For some of us that is a huge deal, and having the game…
I think it was a book on the Aegir that mentioned in passing that he'd deployed a worldwide array of mind control satellites. And they'd worked. For three months, the world was under his complete control. This is a supervillain who sometimes wins.
That's why we were talking about adding a 'Boost' toggle for TPs instead of making them that fast all the time. I'm disgusted that PWE decided to relegate our travel powers to inferior options for getting to time-sensitive events like Clarence.
From what I recall Tumerboy (the Dev who made the Hideouts) posted that with Hideouts the switchable options were what took 90% of the work, so it took almost as much work to make a variant as it did to make the original. I'm hoping that won't apply here, given the fact that vehicles have so much non-cosmetic…
Just because they can't do it currently is no reason not to push for that ability to be added to the new site. Sure, we're talking about adding new functionality to the Perfect World site, but it's not as if a modern website has to draw all its content from a single host. Presumably the code for the old website is still…
