OK, so the interesting missions then are level-dependent? (Makes sense) What level should I be before taking on VIPER/ARGENT/Gadroon/Hunter-Patriot? Thanks!
Thank you, Sidreus! I had picked up that ARGENT was similar to Crey and DEMON was similar to the Circle of Thorns (Crey is probably my most favorite enemy group in CoH - I wish CoH had had more Crey-like enemy groups as well). Does Dr. Destroyer have a faction? I looked for it on the CO wiki, and these groups are the names…
All right, I have a change of subject. One of my and my best friend's favorite parts of CoH is the enemy groups. My personal favorite enemy groups are the facist organizations: the Council, Arachnos, 5th Column, Malta. I have two questions. 1. CO's Arachnos analog is VIPER. Do the Council, 5th Column, etc. have analogues…
If only Cryptic could do something about it. Given that it is the first thing on their website, I'm actually a little bit skeptical that they sold all of their rights to CoH to NCSoft.
I'm glad it wasn't you or CO! :) For the record, I do know that there are some games that don't work with some computers, yet work perfectly fine with other computers. Meanwhile, these 'faulty' computers work fine with other games, even if said other games don't work well with the other computers! :p Would it be possible…
Yeah, Logandarklighter, I think it may be something about the interface between your computer and the game - I'm not having so many problems. Maybe you should contact tech support. :)
Recluse is basically Dr. Destroyer? I wasn't aware of that - I got the impression that yes, while he has servants, they aren't as organized as Arachnos. I guess I'm wrong! :) I also keep forgetting that CO is a pencil and paper game before it went online. :) I was actually asking more generally, though, if Cryptic wanted,…
All right, legal question - I don't know if this is the best place to ask it (or if there is a good place to ask it on these boards), so forgive me if this is the wrong place. Cryptic made City of Heroes. Cryptic owns/works with PWE. Cryptic still advertises CoH on their website (I just checked). These things I know. Rumor…
Pros: She helped make City of Heroes, which is still on Cryptic's website as one of their games that they are proud of. She's a writer, and we're all chiming in about how we like the way that CoH missions are written. Cons: if we grab her, then even if NCSoft reverses their decision, they won't be able to keep going as…
Well, you yourself said six months, approximately, following NO's release - that's quicker than a couple of years, which I might have otherwise been afraid of.
What I interpret that to mean - what I *hope* that to mean - is that the code for building all of the things in Foundry isn't ready yet. If so, then when Neverwinter Online comes out, the Foundry will be ready, because it will have to, which means that porting it to CO will then be comparatively easy (and quick).
Well, I'm pushing for the developers to notice that there is a demand for it and make sure it happens, hopefully sooner rather than later. Myself I'm prepared to wait, if it means it will be better when it comes out. I understand that programming takes time.
I just saw this. lol - that was me who said that. If you read my original post (the opening post of the plea for a foundry thread), what I actually said that CO does not appear to be as developed as CoH, but that may be due to my inexperience with the world. Since then, I've realized another possible reason, which…
Well, CoX players are coming - they're coming in droves. Many (like myself) are already here. Mind you, some CoX players find various elements of CO, particularly the graphical style, to be repulsive, and I agree that they are different, and they are entitled to their opinions. Personally, I preferred the CoX graphical…
Hmmm.... With all the spamming, how confident can I be that the officials (I guess that would mean forum moderators, ideally the developers) have seen this post? Please note to mods and devs: I am prepared to wait patiently for this feature, but I just want to make sure that it's on your minds. This is the sort of thing…
As I said, if we must wait, then we must wait. I will say this, however: I subscribed to VIP membership in CoH solely to use Architect. I suspect I will do something similar for CO when the foundry becomes available, and I'm willing to bet that I will not be alone in doing so.
Mission Architect was, what, issue #17? How long did CoH have to wait before that came out? I'll admit to being fairly new even to CoH (which, if anything, makes its probable disappearance even more saddening). I guess I should be used to waiting. Good heroes are. Mission Architect is entirely limited to instanced…
