My issue seems to have resolved itself with the new update. If anyone else uses a steam deck the recent update to the launcher may be fixed. I ran it with compatibility of Proton Experimental and that worked for me.

The Launcher doesn't seem to work on my steam deck. Star Trek Launcher doesn't seem to work either. It just creates a black window. Yeah, I'm sorry but emotes aren't worth grinding on all my characters to unlock them. I rather they be more rare but account wide unlocks.

I really don't like this change at all. The mobs in the slug fight can't even be CC'ed so you pretty much need two tanks for that one. And if fewer players can participate I can see this becoming a bad time for some.

That's the first I've heard of the 12% - 30% increase. That really should be in the description!

Bug: Mind Control still doesn't proc Manipulator.

Sweet I've been looking forward to a lot of these changes! It was requested on the PTS chat but I figured I bring it up again since it may be an oversight. Mind Lock will proc Manipulator while Mind Control doesn't, I'm not sure if this is intentional.

I'm curious ^ This would help manipulator and give it a way to get stacks without giving unnecessary hold resistances.

^ Indeed! I never noticed that Advantaged CC's never proc'ed Manipulator until this threat made me think about it.

I'm so hyped to see these changes in action. There are so many widespread changes that will effect so many characters. I'm gonna need to ask if we will get retcon tokens for all characters when this goes live. Even if a character may not have one of the moves above I may wanna switch to em with these changes.

Yeah, it should stick to original purpose but it has to be increased significantly. Maybe a significant debuff or buff should come from it. I like have gravity driver has a defense debuff with it, and thematically I think this move should have a stronger debuff than that.

I've been wanting that option for The Inventor for years. Glad to see its actually here now.

I like this suggestion. I like Skarns Bane since its a key power on on of my heroes, but it will be worthless to me if it just applies random debuffs. Focusing the attack on doing a purpose similar to why I got it in the first place with make me feel better about its change.

The Skarn's Bane change makes it do something different from what I chose it for. Why not just make another power that will do this random debuff thing and just fix the bugs with Skarn's Bane.
