Indeed. I played both from 2009-2012 while both were active and struggled to go back and forth (I needed time to adjust from CO to CoX and vise versa) but liked both. It's awesome that CoX is playable in some form in the wild. The gameplay in CO is more advanced but there's so much stuff, content and a larger fanbase for…
Force and Might being done close to Captain Marvel's release could be awesome. We got the aquatic lockbox with the TotallyNotOceanMaster pieces in time for Aquaman (which is just great, B-movie fun).
You could also get the mission, collect all the parts, mission completes, mail them to your self, turn the mission in, get the email and repeat. It's a boring, silly thing to do but I've tried it and it works as much as you try it.
I don't see Gear Sword from the vendor at High Noon. Love the High Collar. Is this a two-week thing or will the Christmas event launch next week? Love to test stuff but if it's only up one week we can all just play it, bug report stuff for the next time it comes back.
Thanks, Flowcyto. I think my main issue is I should be waiting for both Force and Might reworks before I try it again. I'll post the build I had recently so you can get some idea of the mess I was attempting though.
I'm not too fond of force either. This has been a lot of work to recreate a marvel character (should be easy! this game was originally based on marvel characters!) but making a force-blasting tank just fields awkward. I may wait for a force rework and cross my fingers. I've used your Force build above for dps on another…
Yeah, that's my problem. I'm trying to make a Captain Marvel-esque character but I have so many alts that cover most roles. I also already have a Force DPS character. Let me ask this: If a character mixed Force and Might powers (lets skip the infernal and MA stuff because that confused things), what role would they best…
Considering the amount of mods in game with the above being true... Yikes we have a lot of wasted effort on some of this stuff. Unless there's a way to use those mods to improve a character with some innate skill-up (think Neverwinter allowing gems to be used to add xp to gear) then I may never use most of this stuff.
I wish temporary Backup! devices were just a one-time, 1 minute use and that reusable ones lasted 30 seconds. Is that too much to ask? The short duration and derp AI often makes them pointless to cast outside of Witchcraft (she uses Aura of Ebon Destruction so she's useful even if she just stands there).
I was expecting to be farming for vehicles I don't really need and power level low level alts in the Open Mission using double xp that'll never play! May have been saved a few hours of insanity. EDIT: Grammar. ALSO: OMG FUSING WEEK TURN ON THE SERVER! TURN IT ON NOW! Ahem. Sorry.
I believe in 2017 Kaiserin said they stopped the stacking of orb buffs. Now you can just refresh the 30 seconds. The only way to improve the duration is to get the Booster temp power.
This post is weeks old so sorry for bringing it up so late: Hybrid is great for characters that still want to use a tank or support aura when soloing but can't do so in a DPS role. I'm mainly looking for a balanced passive or toggle. The Automaton one is wonky and others that balance range vs melee damage usually have low…
When you run 3 Smash missions, a special alert and kill mobs between cat hunting and notice you have 121 bonus ore in that time... yeah it's a really small amount. (edit: Not to mention CO rounds down for rewards when you're on a team). Maybe just increase ore rate from existing sources by 10 percent for the week. I'd take…
You misunderstood my "wut" lol. It's that Kaiserin did something with a DUC and knows it exists. I was hoping a change would be to make it a mod 3 and drop each time like the Red Banner mod change. Also... it could be SOLD?!!! Was more what that wut was for. While we're at it - can you put text on white and purple rocks…
Post - Deleted - sighs, wasn't paying attention. What I thought was a bug was just the player characters ducking after Stone's ship does the drive by. Carry on.
Favorite moment? Getting an email from a friend that they had removed travel cancels from every mob after swearing the game off due to them. Least favorite moment? Grinding for Travel devices. To rank 3. Three times. Yeah.
I've been holding off on an electric/single blade character as I slowly rebuild all my electrical character's from Cryptic's first game so I'm game for elemental stuff. My issue is I haven't found a build I like using stuff already created to cross over sets (Shoulder Launcher burn patches, Fireball with negative ions,…
Amazing Grace for gaps in Masterful Dodge being up (gives a flat 20 percent on top of your dodge chance for at least 10 seconds, but has a super long cooldown to be part of rotation - 2 minutes or more even on high AoAC/AoPM raids). Feline Metabolic Serum is 3.3 dodge percent I believe. I am I missing any other devices…
I counted those in the average. I tend to get 1 drifter per 10 lockboxes (your results may be different). Without drifter boxes the average is closer to high 2 to mid 3 range per lockbox. It's not bad. It's just pricey at 250 each. I can't ever see using the secondary items at the very least. Even if I were on a silver…
Drifter salvage rate is about 3 to 4 per lockbox on average right? So 1500 Drifter for a full set of Legion would be 375 lockboxes at least (on average). I know players are getting other stuff in the meantime but... that's... um. That said, I'm all for QoL improvements. Maybe some improvements to Become devices may make…
Any chance on adding a 3rd slot to Bold gear - it's not even as good as trash from random 40 mobs drops at present. It's better if you added a 2nd armor or enhancement slot but capped the available mod for it at Mod 3 or 4s. Also, 250 Drifter for secondary Legion gear is steep. That's as much as the primaries.
I haven't been playing on characters that needed xp, but is there a way to reward players who have been running this constantly for all the xp they likely missed?
I second this. Fluidity should give as a good a block resistance as the default block (200 percent) and that resistance will not be improved by ranking it up. The only way this competes with other blocks is a MASSIVE increase to dodge/avoidance to the point you're immortal while blocking. Maybe an advantage (2 pts, NOT 3)…
Can I upvote this? Do we have that? I play this game an unhealthy amount. I ran last NI and I'm running this one and a total of 4 rocks to date. In that same type of playing time, at least 100 of the Xmas, Anniversary and Bloodmoon rocks.
Is it bad I read this thread with a tub of popcorn? Or that most of my characters have a Jolt in the name? /sipsoda /munches And the ultimate looks like Lightning Rod from that which can no longer be mentioned game. I'm lifetime and I want to give Kaiseri...er the game more money now. My biggest worry is having to re-think…
