4/9/23 EST Timezone Similar issues. Issues updating the CO launcher, finally get the CO launcher to come up, just a black game screen and spinning cursor. Finally get a Fatal Error: Unable to initialize on-demand patching and connect to Patch Server: The connection was idle for too long.

Want to add that the launcher is now running slowly. Sometimes DCs before I can get to character selection. I've also tried using the launcher fromr Arc and from just the launcher on my PC. When I can get in game, I get DCed after about a minute or so. Should i keep posting here or over in General? Any clues on what's…

Do you go through Arc to get to the game?

It's worked perfectly well for a few years and didn't have any problems until after the patch from 2/18/16. If it wasn't for the fact that it worked just fine before that and works perfectly well for all other programs, I'd agree that it's just time to upgrade/buy a new keyboard.

I switched the aura to another character and the same thing. I went to the Canada map and it stopped. So it might just be happening in Halloween MC for some reason?

I agree. I'm not saying they shouldn't put things up for money. I just don't believe emotes specifically should be one of those things. What I listed in my OP are things I would rather see there.

I'm disappointed that emotes are being sold instead of just added. I would have wished that what is being added to the C-Store was much more interesting. I would have rather seen become devices (not vehicles), costumes, or even power sets sold in the store. I was told by another gamer that the CO community asked for emotes…

BTW, I bought 2 Become devices from the C-Store before the time ran out and they were listed as On Sale, but it never gave them to me in game.

Depends on the device. I find that the Mummy is pretty good, but the Toy Soldier isn't as strong when compared. I'd have to be able to use the 2 new Becomes to figure it out.

Although, I won't buy these right away, it does look cool. As a side note, is there some reason comments can't be posted to the "blog post" pages? Direct, immediate, non-forum feedback not wanted anymore?

The horrid "lockboxes" from STO have infected CO finally. Halloween truly is a terrifying time. lol Seriously though, I'd rather just be able to buy the Become devices from the Z-Store (or C-Store) rather than attempt a gamble. Oh well, something foolish like this was bound to happen eventually, right?

Just attempted the Nighthawk event and it is possible that it CANNOT be completed. The last fight is built to where you CANNOT beat the boss. If someone has, please let me know how you did it. Thanks. My mistake. Just a really really bad run, or a bug affecting the damage output.

Not sure if it's all pets, but the Void Horror pet from Darkness set cancels out the Stealth power from Night Warrior passive. Also is it possible to get the new sneak as a separate power when this hits live instead of being forced to take Night Warrior passive? Thanks. Everything else looks fun and will be interesting to…
