  • I'm having a similar issue with the game hanging up after selecting my character. I cannot load into millennium city properly. If you resolved this issue at ALL I'd love to hear how.

  • Perfect World support is giving me the runaround with solutions I already tried... I've seen other people have this exact issue on the forums, I wish I knew how they got around it. (if they ever did and didn't just give up :confused:)

  • I more or less have done this SEVERAL times. Unless there's some broken cached files lying around, which I wouldn't know how to clean up. I think Perfect World's amazing patching protocols has effectively locked me out of the game. I really liked this game too. :frown:

  • Well I just made a discovery. It says 12 files fail to validate no matter how many files are actually missing! (tried deleting the folders) What the hell?!

  • I tried it. It isn't hardware failure. The game still claims it's missing files no matter what. Is there a way to find out what files are missing? The game still RUNS without them. I can literally if I wait long enoguh, get into a broken version of the game. All my abilities don't work, flight doesn't work, and it…

  • Also it says it needs to patch roughly 35 more files before failing and locking up like in my screenshot, but not -what- they are. While verifying files through Steam claims there's 12 files missing. I'm so confused. Is it possible for the patcher to crash during the loading screen?

  • I'll try anything at this point, thanks. I don't know what's inhibiting the game. I know it isn't my hardware, I wouldn't likely even be able to reach character selection if it was.

  • That doesn't help at all because it doesn't say what the files are. So that's already kind of dead in the water... Even if I force verify it still gets stuck on the loading screen as if something's missing or broken. Also the game HAD managed to get past the loading screen like twice, but the game is broken and bugged due…

  • I'm having a similar issue. Once I select a character, the game hangs up on a loading bar. I used to be able to play prior. It hangs up roughly at that 75-80% mark.
