I love Champions lore (it's such a shame that so many locations and concepts never got explored in CO), and when I look at some amazing heroes here - I really feel like creating my own stories in CO!

No, I have not. I look at the game and see lack of significant updates. At some point Cryptic put most of its resources to Star Trek Online, and CO was left behind. The concept sound pretty fun. I would simply combine cybernetic/robotic parts with flesh in a way that would suggest that the cybernetic part is the real frame of the character, as the flesh is dead and decaying.
