Nerfing the weapons aside, is there some reason my Shuriken is crawling along at a gentle strolling speed and not recovering energy after a futile attempt at speed boost?
Hey, I don't know when you did it, but I just yesterday noticed the Indy Kid is standing and walking rather than hovering and flying when near the ground. Maybe now he can make it through doorways. Thanks, Devs!
So the first week of Foxbatcon, we spend our time searching the cosplayers throughout the city for the real Foxbat. The second week of Foxbatcon, we spend our time searching the cosplayers, and then responding to a ransom note and then Nothing ever comes of it. The event ends before we get to see the fruits of our labour.…
I wasn't crazy about having Hydrophis on the ropes with at least two fifths of my own health bar and only a sliver of his and then getting one-shot by him. That wasn't what I would call enjoyable. Other than that, it's fine...not great, but it's hopefully forward movement for a game I love. What's to dislike?
Moments: 1. Getting my first toon to level 35 and then running back and forth to the Monster Island Powerhouse because I had no ideas for a secondary travel power 2. Buying the Premium Pack because I've never been a subscriber 3. Converting my favourite toon from an Inferno AT to Freeform after the Fire revamp because I…
No, the appearance would be for you to set yourself with a costume slot. The only thing changing with this device is your name and maybe your powers. "That which sleeps'" civilian identity of "Charles W. Thulhu" would still be an eldritch monster in a shirt, tie, and glasses.
Well, again, the important thing would be the name. Click on someone normally, and it says "Superspider;" click on them when disguised, it would say "Peter Kent." Almost all my toons have civilian costumes. But other players still see, for example, "Meridian" even when he's dressed as "Josh Feinberg." I know it's not…
I like Nighthawk. It might be a bit old and worn and occur too many times per calendar year for its own good. But it has a story. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I prefer that over "here's a giant robot; good luck not dying."
Rightly so. I was just using a specific example to illustrate a generalized body type that seems to be the goal of most of the modern body modifications pertinent to this discussion. And I know you were...or at least you seemed to be...more decrying than expounding the tendency to "push the sliders," as you called it. And…
I was actually thinking a third week should be added to FoxbatCon, where we finally see the fruits of our efforts to drag him to the stage. Then, he could sing his own rendition of that -criticism deleted- song.
Dang. Didn't work. What's a good place for hosting images that won't put me on some "Nigerian Prince's" email list or otherwise compromise my security? Alternatively, how do I get this to work from Google Photos, which is what I was trying here?
But when do you actually carry someone? Even when you save people from ledges, e.g. the one-off Viper stumble-upon mission in MC's City Center or that Nemesis mission atop the...I want to say it's the Recognition Store. You just dispatch the enemies threatening the poor innocent, and he or she is like "OK, I can make my…
*elicit You have a well-reasoned and truthful, if cynical, argument. But I hate every word of it because I personally like real women over Kardashians. And I'm having a bad morning. So I'm going to be "that guy" and nitpick your spelling/grammar error. Hate me if you must.
I want so badly to applaud your statement, but unfortunately I have four characters* in this game and one** in STO which are pretty much exactly that. I'm so ashamed. *...out of twenty **...out of seven
...except for Indy Kid, who can't make it through doors half the time because he won't STOP flying. * At the risk of this becoming my "personal magnifiers": cruiser-style grav bikes * The "make it stop" emote I described elsewhere * Beetus' noir thing...I'd still like to see it as its own zone, accessible through Jury's…
I'm excited about the prospect of new stories. I hope this proves to be a successful and sustainable model. Since it's starting with the Cobra Lords, I'm hoping, but not holding my breath, for a cruiser-shaped grav bike, feet-forward riding position and all. Can't imagine we'll get new content and new toys, though.
Something like this: like the Meditate emote, but maybe a bit higher off the ground, different hand pose, and at least one book and/or scroll hovering nearby.
A new zone with this filter would be nice. It shouldn't even be that hard, since new models and textures would be few and far between. Recycle pieces from Westside, Millennium City and maybe a bit of Feral Tangle, Monster Island, sounds/music from Vibora Bay. Probably re-use some of the New Purple Gang mooks, among others.…
You pick it up; you fence it. If it can't be fenced, you either try to sell it at the Auction House or you just drag it off your inventory to discard. Or you use it. You really don't need that many snowballs.
"MakeItStop" - Hands clasped over the ears and pained expression on the face...perhaps even a bit of buckle to the knees. Account-wide unlock as reward for dancing at Sapphire's Anniversary concert 100 times.
It took some time—with the occasional diversion for advancement—but I finally got all my toons back into the order in which I know and want them. I will add my voice to the chorus of people who don't like this new sorting feature, unless it's made optional. I use all my characters...ALL OF THEM...perhaps not equally, but…
It works for more than just noir, too. Retro-futurism? Just look toward the Ren Center from Westside and try not to think of Fritz Lang's Metropolis. Classic sci-fi horror? How about the resemblance between Monster Island and the island from the original King Kong. The possibilities are only limited by one's own level of…
Sergeant Lieutenant Captain ...to supplement the "Major," "Colonel," and "General" titles that already exist in the game. I don't know what the requirements should be, but since they're junior ranks, something easier than beating up Nemesis mooks? Sorry mine aren't all that funny.
Stripper pants! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6inrp8quWFQ ...except, you know, preferably with a costume underneath :) (BTW, video is totally SFW! I wouldn't do that to you.)
Is your bugged toon an AT, and if so, which one? My Inferno toon is missing all transformations without having purchased any for him. Meanwhile, my Grimoire bought the...whatever the magic SCR one is called...and it works fine. So it might not be the purchase, but something to do with the character. Either way, go ahead…
Well, I'm glad it's not just me. Unfortunately, I did try leaving and re-entering as you did several times. But my nemesis just kept disappearing at random intervals in the mission until I changed her powers. I appreciate the input. Who knows...maybe it's changed since I had the problem? They do seem to be paying attention…
There's a skirt option for males with a plaid pattern available that can sort of pass for a kilt (at least as accurately as the military option on the suit jacket.) What we could use with that is a selection of sporrans, preferably as a hip layer because the belt is something else and should remain separate.…
Ha! Yeah, looking back, that may have been what I was reacting to. If I could afford to throw a c-note at a video game all at once like that, I'd probably have gone that little extra stretch for the LTS when it was on sale, rendering his proposed change to the Premium Pack moot. Believe me, I want to contribute to keeping…
Aw, man. I may be in the minority, but I had been looking forward to that all last week. I actually logged in before work last night with the express purpose of buying it. Was the feedback really about the Premium Pack itself or was it a lot of angst over losing monthly sub benefits? As far as I could see, there was…
