Please make walk toggle. Just for the sake of roleplaying. I think you should promote roleplaying and walking is just nice after a hard day of hero work. But like this, you cant even jump easily with walk on. And honestly, having a thumb on some key all the time is not fun at all.
I'm pretty sure there was a way to do this, when I finally get in the game (10% left of a 300 MB patch to go), I'll try and figure out how I did it before.
Is there some reason you want to walk and not run? Run is already toggle-able.
There are many people who like to Walk for RP reasons.
Just because you might never want to do that doesn't mean no one wants to.
It's been like 3 years since I played CoH so I don't know the binds anymore. What I need is toggle jump for Super Jump. I'll try ++jump
I'm not sure if there's a way to make jump a toggle. Even if you could I wouldn't make that be the same key as the standard space bar jump anyway. That'd be far too weird to deal with in a combat situation.

/bind key ++walk
Works :P
I tried that. But how do I bind it to specific key. It seems to do nothing.
I use for example /bind ; ++walk but it does nothing.
Gamepads = future
The truth, you know it to be so.
Thanks for an answer.
If I remember the syntax correctly (since it appears to work just like City of Heroes):
Typing /bind key ++walk will set the key up to be a toggle.
Typing /bind key +walk will set the key up so that it needs to be held down to work.
The extra "plus" makes the difference.

My what a bleak future is instore for us.
Oh, and thanks for making us aware of this Coderanger.
I'm off to try some dangerous, yet well informed, keybinding experiments.
