As a relatively new player I've noticed Bacon doing/saying several helpful and generally fun/cool things, some of which have helped me out quite a bit (probably without him knowing).
Maybe instead of less character dedication threads, we need more?
I did a 50,000 global worth of items giveaway a few days ago, but there's a thread dedicated to someone I see in chat once in awhile talking in all caps with many exclamation points.
Is it just me? Or... am I missing something?

If you're fishing for recognition I did notice a Bacon Overlord receiving a Heavy Inferno Nightmare somewhere recently.
Of course it was an automated message and there was no real fanfare involved but I saw and I remembered.

I've been playing CO for almost...2 years? I've been hearing the name "Caliga" for quite some time, yet I don't know what makes him so popular. I did see him in-game a bunch of times. Hanging around in his Grav Chariot near Defender sometimes PvPing ,and in his SG Conquer's CCs.
There were even some players cosplaying as Caliga. :P
Seeing that made me more curious.
Is it because he's kinda like CO's Deadpool? I am just so intrigue on how one player can be so loved by many.^^

And, on topic: The BBC once wanted to make a television program about Caliga's early days (before he was a superhero), but the awesomeness melted the test audience's brains. As a result, they were forced to reduce the level of awesome and split the pilot into three separate shows, namely Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Ashes to Ashes.
That does sound more likely - even so, that just tells you how awesome Toshiro Mifune is, to be worthy of Caliga's mercy. When Optimus Prime met Caliga, he changed his slogan to "What is thy bidding, my master?"
