    So it would seem.

ALSO: Dear Cryptic: please scratch whatever that other secret project is you're working on, you obviously can't even afford enough servers for 3 games.

That moment when things are so tragic you can't help but to laugh out of discomfort.

Seriously, Cryptic, what the hell is going on over there? Did someone spill coffee on your only server? Earthquake? Wild bonobos get loose in your server room? What? HOW IS THIS ANY WAY TO RUN A COMPANY?

I know it is because of Neverwinter, but can it not be fixed?

I am really happy I have held off giving any money for the new game. If this is the quality of the product I doubt I will be putting in any money as Neverwinter seems to be crashing and cheapening the quality of my superhero game:mad::mad::frown:

Unfortunately gamers seem to put up with crappy quality. Wal-mart demographic I guess.

Logged on about 20 minutes ago, but it just booted me out, all the waaaaaaaaay out and it won't let get passed the launcher update thingy.

I was in the middle of a tough-a$$ battle when it booted me, too. Grrrrr

All I wanna know is, why are all three games on the same game engine or even hooked up to the same LAN line? And if they are not ran on the same engine, why in the hell are they even in the same building on the same internet connection?

Hell, I'm stilling waiting for those free respecs from the last two times this happened.

You know the server will not be up and going again for another 5 hours from now...which is just about my bed time. It's how it has been playing out the last two times.

Not every other night, they don't... or the game stops being both online AND a game after a while.

Read the ToS. It states that they can't account for unscheduled downtimes and by hitting the agree button you agreed to just deal with it if/when they occur.

It's like that with literally EVERY MMO out there.

I really and truly hope these guys aren't going to try and pull a Sim City/Diablo3 with NWO.

They've had AMPLE evidence that trying to "push" existing infrastructure for rollouts is a REALLY EFFING BAD IDEA! (On the order of "Home Vasectomy Kit" bad.)

We've also agreed to content that can change without notice.

So if they wanted, NW could change into Hello Kitty Dungeon Adventure, and you've agreed to put up with it.

That's not going to stop reasonable ire about it, though.
    Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH

Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?

Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?

Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?

Not Neverwinter as such but adding Neverwinter to the same system as STO and CO seems to have broken the camels back. What ever system Cryptic uses it cant cope with 3 mmos at once.

Entirely fair, and with the outward-facing evidence, I'd think that too. From what I've seen of the incident report -- although I'm not allowed to talk about business stuff like that -- I don't think it's related to Neverwinter, surprising as it is. I could be misreading the report, though.

Directly or not. The fact is that Cryptic's uptime, stability and playability has taken a MANLY flush once NWO opened up.

Start hammering them to review and upgrade their provisioning NOW.

If not, you're probably going to have YET another botched Cryptic launch on your hands.
And, as some added sauce on the poop taco, you're going to look like complete freaking idiots in light of the aforementioned issues with Diablo and SimCity.

But hey, if you ACTIVELY want to chase potential customers away, knock yourselves out!
