Actually, I found it to be an intriguing plot twist. And while I would, in fact, love for this to be a permanent change, I don't believe for a minute they don't already have a plan in mind to restore the status quo.

I quit reading after Brand New Day, decided to comeback to Spider-Man...issue 700 was a bad one to do that with.

What spoiler? I never said what the change was (nor will I); and it's kind of an open secret that there's some kind of big deal in ASM #700. In fact, it would be odd if there weren't, with such a nice big round number on it as 700...

I love when the characters or the narrators (seriously, what happened to narration in comic books?!) describe in detail what they're doing. It's hilarious when the Hulk is like "First I'm gonna do this! Then I'm gonna pick up this, and do THAT to you! And now I'll just do THIS! And then you're gonna beat me with GAS!"
"Phew! That was a close one... It's a good thing ah'm invulnerable when ah'm blastin'!"
"For heaven's sake, Sam! We all know already! You don't have to tell us each time!"
"Sorry, Ms. Braddock, ma'am. Force o' habit."
"Never mind that. Now, stand back as I produce my psychic knife... the focused sum of all my telepathic abilities."

Superman is not really human... he is an alien
Joker kills Robin (Jason Todd)
Bane breaks Batman's spine!!!

Spoilerific enough?
How about spear weilding Ewoks destroy the technologically superior Galactic Empire in Return of the Jedi... oh wait that isn't a spoiler its just silly.... never mind.
If the game was not good, and had GREAT potential, many of us would not bother to constantly ask for improvements and more content...
The game is good, it does many things right, but it needs more story driven PERMANENT content, it needs new areas, it certainly needs the Foundry.
I'd say the game isn't good but had plenty of potential - I waited over a year for it to come to fruition, and instead by the end of my tenure it was just lockboxes and vehicles.
It does some things really well, and falls flat and then some in some pretty major areas.

I don't think it's a secret, it's been in pretty much every piece of comics related media, and I'm surprised it hasn't been in the papers yet. Or maybe it has and I just care that little.

Really silly considering that isn't how the story goes. Wait...Wedge Antilles, Ackbar and Lando were really Ewok pilots who blew up the death star and Han, Leah and Chewy were Ewoks who blew up the bunker! Man, I hate missing clever and well written plot twists in George Lucas films!
That reminds me when I switched comps like a year ago. I just couldn't believe that Champs could look this gorgeous (compared to how it looks with crap graphics).
I like this game, quite a lot, or else I wouldn't spend as much time as I do in this hobby. I think the frustration comes, as we like this game so much... we would like it to become SO MUCH more.
And don't get me wrong, likely ill still play the game because its a great game, its just that its tad frustrating at times.

I think that is where most of the anger in the forums comes from, I feel and several others seem too as well, feel that PWE is ruining our game *Via Lockboxes-when many would buy what is inside seperately.* I dont blame Cryptic because I bet it is not really thier call.

While not quite feeling like they are ruining the game, I am disappointed that things I would spend money on are locked away (no pun intended) in a payment form I won't use such as the lockboxes. I'll pay a set price, even one others may think unreasonable, to get something outright. I won't buy a "chance" to get something I want. Not really any animosity about that on my part, just not a way I would spend my own money.
How about spear weilding Ewoks destroy the technologically superior Galactic Empire in Return of the Jedi... oh wait that isn't a spoiler its just silly.... never mind.
Well, they did take down a legion of Stormtroopers, which means they're really kind of badass warriors (as evidenced also by the fact that they were still roaming freely so very close to an important Imperial installation - if they were as harmless and childish as they appeared, the Empire would have cleared out every Ewok tribe within about fifty klicks of the force-field generator, just on the basis of maintaining security). Sadly, Lucas was too focused on the toyetic aspects of the Ewoks, and failed to play up their potential as fierce fighters whose size hides their impressiveness.
Then again, I also keep having to point out to people that the "simple, foolish" Gungan in The Phantom Plotline have selectively-permeable force fields and charged-particle hand grenades...
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
This game is one of the two titles that kept me going for more than three years without stopping, and still having fun while playing (in case you didn't guess already, the other one was CoX).. I agree, it has flaws.. But nobody's perfect..
I'm happy i have this game, it's a stress killer for me, something to simply sit back and enjoy, either alone or with my friends or family..
I stick to my "rant" however, that this game NEEDS some attention!

Ewoks were scripted as wookies. They couldn't find enough tall people during casting so instead they went with making them short instead. And thats how it all makes sense. Source the book the making of the return of the jedi.

No that was the surface of the moon.
At high speed.
See Doc had built a lovely handmade moon rocket, intending to benefit humanity with more affordable space exploration and colonisation, but wicked space pirates shot the rocket to pieces and it crashed onto the moons surface fatally injuring the poor Doc. A passing benevolent energy being found the dying Doc and decided to try and do what it could to save them but not knowing anything about organic life it was only able to help by changing the Doc into something close to itself, a being of living energy. Only the Docs brain, the last vestige of the body still living, remains somewhat organic in nature. The living electricity being potentially lethal the always-ethical Doc built a containment suit/robot body to filter out the dangerous wavelengths of electricity out of bits of shattered spacesuit and spacecraft wreckage and went on to fight the space pirates, build a moonbase and then return triumphantly to earth as the Indestructible Volterrific Dr Cerebellum!
And then some insensitive cad went and made a videogame of her tragic experience giving her some bad flashbacks.
(i made the origin story looong before i found this in Vibora Bay)

This game is fun, and looks amazing on a good graphics card, it's true. I like how much you can customize your characters in this game. Customization could be better (namely in powers, animations & emotes, and coloring powers with tint/shade in addition to hue). Bug fixing, currencies, tank role, and new maps/zones/adventures could CERTAINLY be better. But in the end, this is a good game. And to new players it's got to be mindblowing! (that is if the new players don't get scared away with the alerts and prevalent gameplay glitches/bugs)
Also, I read way more than I write, as hard as that may be to believe.
Most topics I don't reply in -- or don't have time to write a reply then and forget to come back later and write -- which was sort of the case with this topic (almost forgot).
I'm typically reading from my cellphone, when I'm bored.
The character creator with further imagination can let you make creations that you didn't think were there. Like you can make someone look like a rhino-man using certain headwear and side/top accessories even though there is no rhino head...
You can't do this in DCUO, Tera Online or what have you.
