Can we please get news on the mental front? I havent heard about telepathy in ages. I'm getting tired of walking around with my telepath under the guise she has no powers because of powerful psychic dampeners...

So change it up? Pretend she was involved in some situation that's cause her to have a mental break down and can't calmly collect her thoughts :p

If you knew anything about my character Mentella, you'd know it wasnt possible for her to suffer such a breakdown.

But either way it is not going to help me when I want to play her. :frown:

I'm sure if she put her mind to, anything is possible, even a mental breakdown... i love making puns based on the issue of being mental/mind framesets :p

Well causing Mental Breakdowns for other people is usually just a passive effect when she enters a room as her presence is so powerful everyone suffers from severe inferiority complexes and are driven insane >_> <_<.

It would have helped if more people had actually reported some bugs in the last patch.

I saw several people report Bugs in the last thread.

Though I know lots or several at least quit because they felt bug reports fell on deaf ears in the past so they quit.

but hey! the rewards were updated so woot!

    The event is not on.

But Bloodmoon is - just toss santa hats on the zombies and it'll be alright! ...right?

(When BOTH Winter Event and Bloodmoon were on, by the way, that was the most cheerful zombie apocalypse I have ever seen. Just sayin'.)

Christmas AND Halloween, together? Wow that's gotta be more or less the greatest holiday ever!

Happy Hallomas, or would it be Merry Christoween?

    Dockside: Nemesis Toy Theft, Alert!
A Christmas version of Dockside nemmy where he drops Christmas presents during the battle and shouts "Merry Christmas" and leaves (in lieu of the usual lose scene) would be fun.

I'm sure other, more elaborate Christmas alerts could be devised, such as:

    Orphanage Torment: Nocturne, Alert!
Nocturne, angered that you freed the kids in Demonflame, decides to strike back against one of the orphanages where DEMON took them from. She surrounds an orphanage with hostile demons to buy her time to summoning three spirits of Christmas Gone Wrong, which she uses to strengthen the dreamlocked Luther Black.

    Reindeer Games: Josiah Brimstone, Alert!
Working to destroy Christmas at the behest of his demon master, Josiah Brimstone uses dark sorcery to transform Santa's reindeer into Nightmare Deer! Not only are Donner and Blitzer a real pain, wait until you meet Dark Rudolf... what's his nose doing now? Defeat the deer and transform them to normal to save Christmas.

Except, even if they do nothing for this event, they won't put that time toward anything else, they'll just spin in their chairs all day

BUG: The new costume bits from the new Winter costume drop (Finkle's Foundry) are auto-consumed on pickup and if you get a double, are auto-bound on your player.

Did you learn NOTHING from Hi-Pan? Seriously?

Of course, this IS based on people running the mission on Live as it's more or less available right now. Not like we can even TEST THE THING ON TEST.

Ok, I need clarification, What The **** Is Phase 2?

Besides that, I noticed there was no PTS update of significance this Friday like there should've been, all weekend testing nothing relevant, insulting.

I think because they were such a huge flop they decided to reorganize and think about things differently. Either that or there was some internal restructuring. No posts from Nisdiddums, or Gentlemancrush lately, and now we see lordgar popping up instead. Something's up >.>

Educated guess is that NisDiddums and Crush have been transferred to Neverwinter Project instead. Because it's not the first time they just remove staff and put them elsewhere

    Dstahl:
The answer is, STO is growing and our schedule for 2013 is the most ambitious schedule we?ve had to date. We have two major Seasons planned for next year (8 and 9) along with more events and promotions. The team size is double what it was a year ago, and since it takes 5-6 months to develop a Season update, we are just now starting to see the benefits from that, and Season 8 will show the effort that our full team can bring to bear on the game.

    Bug
    Where it happens
    What happens

Fire Demons Ear Horns of Recognition (Unity Token Vendor)
Where: At Recognition Store, Tailor, Character Creation

What: The costume piece on purchase only unlocks on the character that bought it when it's supposed to be account wide like the other costumes.

    Retaliation Buff Bug
    Where: In fights

What: The Retaliation buff is used up on the Energy Builder. Whereas the Guard power's retaliation buff isn't used up on an Energy Builder making the former Retaliation more tricky to use.

From that same response you display here is that person's definition of maintainence mode...which, in a nutshell, is the current state of Champions.

I would guess the answer will be yes eventually.

On the down side NWO's last announced release date was early 2013. I'm guessing there are still at least 3 months to go on this project (probably more). The beta invites for STO lifetime account holders still haven't gone out, so beta testing can't be very far along with NWO.
