    Mission : Breaking point (Nemesis multi-part mission)
    Draysha infused monster does not emerge from the control room to trigger last fight and complete the mission.

    Nemesis type = Munitions.

    I wonder if they can fix this, this sounds like years of work... maybe they wil wipe tehgame because i dont think its possible to fix all that problems... if they could they had have fixed them already .. but it feels like they dont even knot why and what caused al that bugs..

    here is my suggestion: remove Nighthawk ... fix nighthawk on PTS ... try it 2-3 months .. then when its working 100% you can release

    Alo i wonder how "adding powers and an alert" can break so many things that worked before ...

    I agree remove the totally bugged patch and this time FIX IT then add it, liek you said you were doing last time this buggy patch was added!

    STOP PUSHING BUGGY PATCHES just to add shiny crap that breaks the game!

    In this past days from the last patch my game began crashing costantly after an hour of gameplay....why is this?

    Almost every aspect of the game is now broken, we are now less than a week away from the anniversary, I really cannot see how Cryptic is going to be able to fix all of these game breaking bugs by then. Such a damned shame being so close to an update I have been looking forward to since I first started playing Champions Online and then this happens.

    I think this just might have killed the game for good, but I would be more than happy to be proven wrong on this statement.

    All they have to do is remove the patch that broke it all and FIX IT first.

    Like they did last week when they added it and broke everything, and removed it to fix, but didnt really fix it !

    I think another rollback at this point would do more harm than good, especially being this close the next anniversary of the game.

    The game is pretty screwed right now.

    At a certain point last night, I was unable to open my overflow bags, even after logging out and logging back in. I had to quit to desktop and relaunch the game entirely.

    Nem missions are borked badly, Form powers aren't activating when you charge them up, a slew of visual bugs. The only thing keeping it from being entirely unplayable is that (thankfully) the menu bug from PTS has not migrated over.

    We seriously need these worked on right now. I'm excited about the new content, but I think I'd rather have it put on hold and the bugs fixed than the bugs put on hold and the content added.

    Cannot destory Mega D console on 2nd level as it will not allow it to be targeted. Cannot progress this mission. Please fix this as well as all the other bugs

    With this many bugs in the game I wouldn't be surprised if the ENTIRE game goes down for a long time or goes dead or something. This is their biggest screw up yet and I just dont want to play anymore if Im gonna encounter a bug by simply doing nothing in the game. Im glad Im just a silver player otherwise I would feel completely ROBBED of my money.

    All these bugs make wonder... why the in the hell does the game even have a PTR/beta server if they always throw buggy/broken patches?

    They have apparently thrown out all of the normal practices of the software development process. As a software developer, I would be ashamed if I had pushed a build with this many new bugs into production. Did the developers give up on unit testing their individual code updates? Is no one responsible for quality assurance anymore? Do the members of the team not care about this product and/or the quality of their work anymore?

    I hope we hear some kind of statement about what happened and what their plan is to fix it. Until then, I personally don't feel like wasting any more time/money on a game that has become so frustrating.

    Here are two (minor) ones I noticed
    1. When talking to NPCs, their heads no longer appear in the tab that has missions, bank, etc. interactions.
    2. PC portraits while in teams don't show up.

    When I right-click on the characters to check their profile, the portraits show up, but they're so low-res they look almost like children's drawings.

    I'm a developer, too. If my team shipped a product to clients with this many regressions and new feature bugs, they'd need the National Guard and a fleet of moving vans to escort all the recently fired from the office.

    Maybe Champions needs an outside interest to manage the IP, if only to keep Cryptic honest. CBS or Wizards of the Coast would be pretty damned angry if this happened to STO or Neverwinter.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but another minor one is that the character portraits in the information windows are all pixellated and incomplete.

    Trying to alt-tab out of and back into the game when it's in fullscreen windowed mode causes the game, and by extension my entire computer, to hang for a couple of minutes.

    I had Steam running at the time, but I always play CO either through Steam or with Steam running in the background, and didn't have this problem when I played a week ago, so I suspect it's this patch's fault.

    Teleiosaurus in Monster Island Crisis resets to spawn point while fighting Qwijibo. Sometimes committing to the same path in the cut scene and then resetting again. After this loop he wonders around the jungle until you agro him yourself.

    There and Bat again is still fracking bugged!
    e.g. unable to speak to foxbat after final wave of attackers is down.
    I must be owed something like 100 silver recog by now - maybe 150. This is really irritating!......

    This topic needs to be updated to remove the bugs that were fixed and organize the ones that are still around. Perhaps create a list of done & not done?

    It's "PTS", and yes I've wondered the same thing before, right after they ignored much of the feedback in the PTS when On Alert came out. It really does piss you off, I'll admit.

    havent had to post in this forum in a long time.
    bugs i know:

    1) random client crashes. prior to the night blade (whatever the name is) patch, i never crashed. Ive crashed 3times in the past 2 hours.

    2) despawning nems. during fights, they just disappear.

    3) nemcon dr. destroyer self heals.

    4) ag qibptoth (whatever his name is) now has the ranged heal, and devour essence, and regen. and is crazy hard to kill. As far as i can remember, the villian only had the ranged heal.

    I dont know guys, it's looking like you got sabotaged by some rogue programmer to me.

    I agree you need to roll back the patch & fix it. How many players have you lost already? Me & 2 of my friends are about ready to quit if it's not fixed soon & my brother & I are lifetime members!

    This may be a stupid question, but has Cryptic even acknowledged this epidemic of in-game bugs? Let alone even attempted to address the issues? I hear a lot of people talking about quitting, and I'm probably gonna take a hiatus right now. As it stands, the game is nigh unplayable.

    Another bug to add to the list. Not game breaking, merely an observation.

    In hideouts that have low gravity, such as the Moon hideout, travel powers seem to be utterly disabled. The animations will play, but things like Teleport won't give you freedom of movement, and Athletics/Acrobatics won't boost jump height or movement speed. Even while phased you will move normally and jump like normal. Don't know if it is with every travel power, but Fire Flight, Athletics, Acrobatics, Electric Arc, Teleport, and Jetboots aren't working for me.

    Even my hideout isn't safe from the barrage of bugs. About the only thing I feel safe with doing right now is costume making. :frown:

There have been less posts from devs than usual BUT that's probably they are focusing on tracing and fixing the code and why its caused so much trouble.

    working on the bugs? they need to 'work' on removing the patch and fixing it on test !

    I must be blind but the last posts in the Dev-Tracker are all from Trailturtle and from
    the 25th .. mostly about Maintenance times and patch notes.

    It's good to know that, however a little more communication from Cryptic would've helped. Respectfully to the devs, I was seriously considering to become a lifetime subscriber but right now I'm playing CoH again. I really like CO but I won't spend my money here if the bugs don't let me play the game. Right now I just can play some alerts with no bugs. Unity is not working, nemcon is not working, many normal missions are not working... I can't play with my main or with any of my alts of any level, there are always bugs that make impossible to complete certain missions. Devs: please, put all of your efforts in a new patch to solve this. We all love this game but right now it's impossible to play.

    The only way to remove the patch is to rollback the servers to what their state was on Thursday. Thus negating anything any player has done in the game since then. So no.

    From Page 1 up to this post, here is the compilation of bugs. Took a first crack at categorizing and also attempting to remove duplicates. Took me about 30 mins to create this.

    I'm not putting any more effort into it, so someone else can take this and run with it.

    As an aside, total # and # by type is rather interesting.

    1. UI+;-When turning in a completed mission to a contact the mission isn't removed from the list of missions offered by that contact. It still shows the yellow question mark next to the mission name and when clicking on that mission again the conversation window closes. Upon reopening the conversation with that contact, the already turned in mission is then removed from the list of completed missions.
    2. UI+;* All lore entries are gone
    3. UI+;* Boosts (the little glowies) fade out slowly instead of quickly, making it hard to tell if you managed to pick one up in the heat of combat.
    4. UI+;* Flyover cutscenes play as though it's the first time you visited an area (though just once, and you can skip them). OK, pretty small as the bugs on this list go, but still...
    5. UI+;* Some objects have corrupted text, though at the moment I can't remember where I saw this.
    6. UI+;"* Some quest markers on the map have corrupted text (something like ""QuestHelperObject""). For example the mission on Monster Island where you check to see if the professor in the caves is OK, one of the two markers shows that corrupted text."
    7. UI+;Cannot interact with UNITY Mission console.

    28. TAILOR;And Pulp Curl hair for women? is there a reason my character is bald?
    29. TAILOR;Certain costumes and head types like the worm and the brain in a bubble disappear. More reports are being added all the time of other costume pieces.
    30. TAILOR;Costume inconsistencies with recent Nighthawk set. Chest wear not working with cape as one example.
    31. POWERS;Another bug, concentrationm wierdly only on some characters that have it not others bugs out.
    32. POWERS;BUG: The Shredded Debuff that Command Animals applies is the OLD Shredded, not the good (and useful) one.
    33. POWERS;Manipulator Energy Gain doesn't scale with INT
    34. POWERS;ranking up Gas Pellets actually makes them weaker.

    45. MISSION;I can attest to Doomsday Device! being utterly impossible to complete because the disappearing nemesis bug has spread like a plague across Millenium City. I've also read that this is now happening in Deathray Demolition and Whiteout #3: Cold and Calculating.
    46. MISSION;I had the same problem with Ripper in the Viper Nest on Monster Island. Whenever he go a shade under 1/3 HP he'd bounce back to 2/3.
    47. MISSION;I just ran Destroyer Factory and everything was fine until the last room. Dr D detaches his limbs and then his head disappears while his flying arms start multiplying. The arms swarm you at the room entry. Even teleport only buys you a few seconds before they find you.
    48. MISSION;"In the ""All That is Unholy"" mission from Vibora Bay Apocalypse, Valerian Scarlet disappears after taking 1/3 health damage without updating the ""Defeat Valerian Scarlet"" sub-goal. This makes the mission impossible to complete."
    49. MISSION;Just ran into the bug with Perfect Prey in Canada. The mission can't be completed because the enemies you're supposed to kill to save the clone don't spawn. AND the smoke grenade seems to be bugged too, showing the Wildlife Decontamination thing instead of what it should do.
    50. MISSION;Legendary villains' health shoot back up. I just ran Destroid Factory and Dr. Destroyer's health keeps shooting up to a full third and full 2/3s repeatedly. This goes for Alerts as well like Ripper, Psimon so far.

    52. MISSION;Mission: Braving the Elements Issue: During battle with Valerian Scarlet, she simply disappears after losing half her health. The mission then stops with no cutscene. Mission cannot be completed. She respawns if you leave and re-enter the instance.

(This is a bug that has been ongoing since the On Alert patch and has yet to be fixed.)"
    66. ITEMS;until/primus/mcpd recog. Go to the store and buy items. I got a L40 item which should have been a L23.at least I can sell it for 2g

    69. GAMEPLAY;auction house is bugged, keep getting 'unable to purchase' when trying to buy.

    73. GAMEPLAY;I've discovered a bug with the VIP Room. When the loading screen starts up it gets a server not responding message and it disconnects you from the game. My main character is stuck there now, I tried to with low level alt and got the same result.
    74. GAMEPLAY;No free retcon given to all characters with Stealth.
    75. GAMEPLAY;Players saying that they are removed from Unity availability.
    76. GAMEPLAY;Selecting the Night Avenger AT from the character selection shows the AT Rotation error.
    77. GAMEPLAY;SG Bank not adding resources to total but will reduce total when removing resources
    78. GAMEPLAY;The serpent lantern sidekick devices are all level 1.
    79. ALERTS;2. alerts - join message doesn't turn up , then says you didn't respond in time.
    80. ALERTS;4. when joining alert- lose server connectiopn- unable to find map- can't remember what the third is but I get all three in a row. Get booted them when try to go back in you get the other 2 messages
    81. ALERTS;Alerts- nemesis fakes have no KB resist and vanish at 2/3 hps. for a win

    This is quite a conundrum we've come across here, eh? A few things to throw in...

    -Crashes caused by random events such as; Opening the Tailor, Exiting the map, Loading the game, Opening a window (Inventory, Bank, Character Overview, etc.)

    -Globals, Nationals, Locals (Currency) not being received or withdrawn properly in Super Group Vaults, Auction House sales, and even Transfers from Shared Account Banks in Hideouts. (Selling to a vendor still works to my experience... for now.)

    *As far as crashes go, starting the game has been determining an error in the Fullscreen mode upon switching between programs. Transfers in currency via SG Vaults/Hideout Shared Account Banks failing causing you to LOSE resources are rare (Unfortunate for me since I was the one coming across these, thus losing my hard earned resources :frown:).

    These problems are making the game hard to manage playing at this time. A MAJOR Hotfix does not begin to describe what we need here...

    I noticed in Monster Island going in and out of the water causes frequent crashes to desktop.

    I've never seen anything like this ever in an MMO. Might as well call it Champions Online and the Patch of Doom.

    I haven't noticed any crashes, but there were some weird grey walls in the giant prison in the desert that disappeared and reappeared depending on my camera/character position.

    It's almost beautiful how they timed it just right to be hit by this patch, the release of an anticipated MMO, and the pre-expansion overhaul patch of another one.

    Um..

    Whenever I press the 8 Key on my num-pad it seems to be remapped to also press "up".. no matter whether numlock is on or off. This does not happen outside the game and I just checked my keybinds along with performing /unbind_all and later resetting the game. Still happening.

    I just have to ask.. What happened to this patch so much that the standard KEYbinds were changed?!

    I realize that the lore isn't GONE it's just been reset. All the lore I found while RPing in game now I am forced to go hunt for all the glowing objects? I already deleted and recreated my toon just to take advantage of the Silver Freeform slot (aka the only reason I'm not playing GW2 right now). I diligently went through every possible mission and picked up every possible piece of lore i could find. I didn't use a guide or wiki.. and now all that work is gone. Lore I actually NEED in order to help me RP in this license where VERY FEW people actually know the story.

    There NEEDS to be a way to give players back their lore/achievements/checkpoints/cutscenes.

    I'm also gonna go ahead and post a bunch of the longstanding bugs that have never been fixed.. just gotta go find where I put my list. Can't believe how much time/work/emotion i've invested in this game.. Any lesser/greater man would have found another game.. yet I persist.

    BUG: The bubbles in the Penthouse spa, as well as the sound effects associated with it, no longer appear.

    HOW DID YOU MESS UP THE PENTHOUSE?! WHAT FILES WERE YOU MESSING WITH THERE!?

    Psychic Vortex: Single Minded - Does not stun, still provides hold resistance.

    Celestial Cleansing: Does not remove buffs from enemy targets. Does not remove debuff from self.

    Maipulator: Energy Return does not scale with INT,Supervillains are not being held by Crowd Control powers even for minute times, Ego Storm Does not prock stack, Freeze Dirtbag does not proc stack, Sonic Arrow does not proc stack,

    NPC Enemy holds provide wrong kind of hold resistance

    Time left on holds via UI displays wrong amounts compared to tooltip.

    Battle of Wit in INT spec tree hold boost grants Confuse time while Dominion in PRE tree does not add Confuse time.

    Ego Storm incapacitate doesn't proc "Trapped" specialization from Overseer Tree..

    Wither specialization in Sentinel Tree has no UI icon, possibly not working with certain powers

    Sentry Mastery Does not respect +CrowdControl or +Cooldown

    Sentinel Mastery does not proc on Ego Storm

    Glossolalia advantage from Soul Mesmerism does not work against players - neither the damage, nor the hold, nor the AoE

    Threat wipe from Absolve fails often.. I think it's the last function of the power and is often cut short.. i dont know what can make it proc, but it'd be nice if this proc'd first in the power before the heal

    Soul Mesmerism, Electrocute, and many other Paralyzes remain rooted to cast while other paralyzes are mobile while cast. Also some do damage upon paralyzing and do not suffer a weaker mez.. this to me means the non-damaging paralyzes should have a stronger mez.

    Gee, I sure wish i could buy things in the auction house, too bad it yells at me with red text every time i try and removes the item I tried buying from the list only to have it pop up again after I refresh the search.

    And yeah, I want my lore back, I literally found all of it on Pink, and now it's gone, and is impossible to re-acquire because many things are in locations you cannot get back to without missions.

    im sorry guys, this is not a bug. this was intentional.

    My guess is, there is a dev that really likes batman and really hates nighthawk and fuubared every line of code she saw before she quit.

    Again I would like to remind people that it WILL TAKE TIME to fix this many bugs. It's retarded a professional studio could cause an epidemic of bugs from a simple content update, but here you have it. I don't blame for anybody getting pissed about this.

    Yeah this makes no sense. The Penthouse hasn't even been modified so why should that have bugged the bubble script? It's just a simple check to toggle on if the player is inside the volume, that's it.
    The only way to remove the patch is to rollback the servers to what their state was on Thursday. Thus negating anything any player has done in the game since then. So no.

    Yeah... A true rollback isn't really an option. The bugs that exist, have to get fixed. Period.

    Yeah it will take time, if they actually take a month to stop making crappy new alerts that consistently add dozens of bugs every time they are patched in and instead dedicate the whole team to fixing the now gargantuan pile of bugs that have been introduced since On Alert! came out.

    But it seems like bugs are barely a concern for them at all anymore. Unless a bug directly stops people from doing whatever new alert they've thrown into the game for the month, then it just gets thrown into the backlog and forgotten for good.

    So, what alert filled with a pile of bugs you all think they'll release next month? I'm going with that super original create a villain Duo Rampage alert that will undoubtedly replace Gravitar, thereby adding exactly 0 content to the game because they keep throwing away everything they added before each time they add another alert.

    so they released "News of the World" and "Nighthawk Reveal Trailer on Massively" but cant be bothered with posting a brief note acknowledging that they are aware of the bugs and/or workign on them?

    other mmos do this and "make up" to the players by either doubling exp/drop or reward them with some "zens"...from the lack of response by PW/Cryptic and the fact that its almost been a week now it seems fair that...they give us 1000+ zen and/or additional stuff...

    At 10:00PM, here is the best answer I can provide: We are aware and working on it. It's not a happy answer, and I wish I had a better one. Right now, the Champs team is working on all of the biggest, showstopping bugs in particular. You've seen that I've asked for lists of MIA costume pieces, and we have an internal list of enemies that are broken right now. The latter should be a systematic rather than a case-by-case fix, if everything goes well.

    I'm very hopeful that this week's patch will resolve most, if not all, of these issues. I know that the developers want these resolved ASAP, and are working as hard as possible towards that. If you would like to contribute towards that, I highly recommend jumping onto the PTS -- the community will always have more eyes than we do.

    Yepp .. just look at bugs like the compare tooltips. They exist since On Alert was on the PTS
    and have been bugged dozens of times, and never ever somebody cared about that.

    Or vanishing Nemeses ..

    A few more I haven't seen reported.

    Resistance, objective Exit the Conquerors Building was not marked as complete when I did it, as such the entire Resistance mission was uncompletable and couldn't be handed in to Defender.

    Incorrect animations in cutscenes, in Stitch in Time Alert, Juryrig floats up the ramp in the final cutscene, similar problem with the scene in Resistance when you blow up the arms dump.

    Resistance: Guardbots in the prison are spawning armies of pets, I don't remember them doing that before. Destroid Leader Drones have turned into suicide bombers, and Black Fang has Giant Growth for some reason. Shadow Collossi are stuck on stupid, and sometimes stand there without attacking. Dr Destroyer's health bar appears to remain full no matter how much damage he takes.

    Hot tub in the Penthouse Hideout has lost its bubbles.

    Some critter attacks not applying Knock Resistance correctly. Argent mobs were able to knock me all the way across the alert map with multiple knocks without giving me a single stack. VIPER mobs also seem to be affected.

    Luthor Black in Demonflame summons a Scythehand which just keeps getting bigger till it fills the entire room, bye bye framerate.

    That's all that comes to mind right now, though I'm sure there was more. If I think of 'em, I'll post 'em.

    Edit: More bugs.

    Champs jet offers Monster Island Crisis as a destination even though I don't have the mission in my journal.

    Creating a Nemesis, minions cannot be previewed when selected, the preview window remains empty.

    I may be misremembering, but didn't mods have a fixed sale price of 50 resources regardless of rank? Vendor sale prices are now higher and scale with rank.
