Pretty much this, I think I'm stuck with a crappy handle I created way back...(LordOfTheAbyss btw)

I'm going to miss the Cryptic display names. Now we can't tell who the forum posters were. Plus it was an extra layer of security, because you should never use your account name in-game, nor reveal it to others. Thanks for compromising our security PWE.

Actually my old forum name was identical to my account in-game name. Now my forum name, account name and in-game name are all different, so by your logic this is more secure than before.

    Welcome to neo-Craptic forums !!!

We are glad to present your our crippled forums with almost no possibilities for the users...
Please spend some more cash so we can cripple even more features !

Wow, PWE really gave you guys at Cryptic the short end of the stick. Almost makes me want Atari back...

Still, you really turned the game (and STO) into something worth playing. With some more costume options, like textures for example, I think you could finally and completely leave City of Heroes in the dust.

This forum thing is a hiccup, don't let it stop you from doing your thing or from keeping your identity. Go, Cryptic. For great justice.

    interesting changes :-(

The forum graphics all look like trash... white borders around icons etc

Seriously, why even bother with the join date anymore? Just get rid of it

    Okay...

So the User CP options? You want to give us some?

Like, posts per page? Time zones? The basics? Can we get them?

And Cryptic is located in the Pacific time zone, in the United States, so right now they're under PDT. At the moment I type this, it's 9:01 am PDT.

    Does it matter?

Not only did we not ever find out what they wanted copies of our costumes for, now we don't even have our Pouches title anymore :frown:

Hmmm -- I wonder if custom avatars are broken a bit.

    <
If my custom one is there, then the "edit your avatar" is still showing me the Defender Default is a little bugged.
[b]Still can't use BBCode for my signature, so I'm writing it out in each post... sad.[/b]

If it's like the STO one. One use per account.

    Sorry.

Be sure to grab it on a character that needs it. Don't do what I did over in STO.

Experimentally confirmed on my secondary account - Strongarm now has all the goodies, so when Detroit Iron looked at the C-Store, it wasn't there.

sigh... I and a fiend were part way through copying our 400+ RP mail messages with characters history to Word. Now we have to try and copy them from Ingame, which you can't do cut and paste.
    Great, thanks a lot.

and I notice the only subsciption options are now credit card or lifetime.. can't pay by the month now

ok copied the thread for him, now to email it. too bad that the acct link FAQ doesn't work. but then I've never got PWE's support ticket button to work

Jonathon- yes you have a custom avatar, now tell me how I get rid of the PRAT.. I want my cat back .... please. I have cookies

Right, so we have an integrated website for CO now. One thing we "gained" is being connected to everything PWE, one thing we lost ? at least from the CO website itself ? is being able to view our CO characters!

To be honest, at this point in time, I think we lost more than we gained. Please correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

I haven't seen any indication that we have gained anything.

Ok, under "Edit Options>Date&Time>Time Zone" it gives the options to set the "User CP" time zone.

I'm set for EST (GMT -5), so why does the board STILL view PST (GMT - 8) for me?

And for that matter, why aren't the options (see my "sig link" of same name for said options) we can use more easily available under the "User CP"

    At the bottom it say's:
    • All times are GMT -4". The time now is 08:51 AM.
    .
But on the main page under it lists the post time at "Today at 5:52am"
    .
And yet my TIME post is accurate?
    .
I think something is wrong with the main forum page :frown:

Well, Sense the changes in this website, At least I have Linden Labs to look forward to to paying them. At least LL are not as bad as PW, I would be subscribing to them than here. Linden Labs earns my loyalty instead despite what Residents in SL thinks about them, There not the type of people that would do the same act as PW does.
