    Thanks for the info on how to do colors. I only tried <span style='color: ...'>, not the font tag -- which has been deprecated from HTML, but not the forums it would seem. I'll get this on the beta soon. BTW, the new Ice powers and Archetype are up on the beta page (http://powerhouse.nullware.com/powerhouse-beta.html). I'm still working on the other missing powers and images.

    Well, it's good to see that the planner it's being updated. Also I am Alexandercrisalex and I was who sent the list of new powers and icons. I am glad they're useful for the community.

    Ok.... so... I have to ask now... any particular reason why someone might not be able to view any of the power selections?

    I've been unable to use the website to do any build work from my laptop or desktop for the past month now because of this... Was hoping the issue might get resolved with the update but it appears it has not... I'm running Win10 & Chrome on both... the issue persists no matter where I'm connecting from... however, I can use it from my tablet without encountering this issue. (though it's rather frustrating to use my tablet for it)

    I can't select any powersets at all... no matter how many times I click or which one I click that menu doesn't ever change... and 90% of the time when loading a build from a link it loads in blank like that or with stuff missing.​​

    Humm, first I've heard of this. I don't have Windows 10 installed anywhere, but I just tried it with Chrome on Windows 7 and it's working for me. Usually it's the browser cache that causes these issues. But considering how long you've had this issue, I'm assuming that your cache has cleared or refreshed, but maybe not. Can you go into your settings and clear your browser cache. (Usually just forcing the page to reload will cause the cache to refresh -- specifically, press CTRL-L then ENTER.)

    Anyone else having this issue?

    cleared the cache and nothing changed

    EDIT: actually something did change... now instead of nothing I get a list of "Undefined" filling out Electricity & Fire... all other powersets remain blank.​​

    I have Win 10 Pro (64-bit ver) and though I don't normally use Chrome (ver 43.0.2357.130 dev-m, atm), the Planner seems to run okay on it for me. This is for both the current and beta Planner.

    Any errors showing in the debug console?

    Have you tried a different browser? Firefox?

    BTW, my windows computer just upgraded to 10, but everything is still working for me using Chrome on it.

    Hum, unfortunately I still don't know what's going on.

    One more thing you might try is "incognito mode" as it should load everything from scratch.

    Thought about that being the issue already and disabled my popup blocker & ad blocker, to no avail...

    This however works... so something that is loading in the normal browser but is disabled in Incognito is the culprit...

    EDIT: found the source of the problem... I had an extension installed to allow my Cromecast to stream Java videos that I installed when Google had released a mandatory chromecast update that broke Java video streaming... forgot to uninstall it when they fixed the issue, and it was causing the problem... apparently the extension updated about a month ago and has been causing the problem ever since...​​

    Seemed to work fine on the couple builds I tried.

    Just wondering if Fractal Aegis, Energy Storm and Gravity Driver should be listed under all the elemental powers, rather than in what might be considered their "native" power sets. E.g. Gravity Driver just under Force?​​

    Thanks for checking.

    Regarding where those powers are listed, I'm just copying where they show up in the game powers interface. They are labelled "Energy Projector" powers, which spans the elemental set.

    Hello buddy glad to see the new update, I have two suggestions for you: as I previously recommended with powers that have requirements to be unlocked, I suggest adding a line of text in Mind Control with something like "This power can be unlocked by purchasing The Psionic Hairs and Mind Control power item from the Zen Store" and regarding Neuroelectric Field something like "This power can be unlocked with Silver and Gold Champions Recognition from Quartermaster Paul Mason at UNTIL HQ"

    Just noticed a glitch. In the old version once one had selected the 3 Super Stats those 3 would be highlighted under both Innate Talent and Talents. This highlighting seems to have disappeared. At least I don't see it in Firefox (just updated) or Chrome.

    With today's patch two ATs have been given new choices: The Mind now gets to choose between Ego Sprites and Mental Leech at level 6. And the Inventor get to choose between Resurrection Serum and Miniaturization Drive at level 30.

    its understandable that its hard to keep the program up-to-date with all the power revamps and the brand new stuff we are getting​​
    POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!

    Guys sorry if i'm a bit (like A LOT) off topic but, since i can't create new topics, i urgely need help.
    I'm following this guide for a feral build: champions-online.proboards.com/thread/1532 , maybe it's a bit old but, with a freeform slot, when i go to choose my "Basic Power" i don't see any Bite power, can you help me out? Did they remove that power or what?

    You must be in the character creator still. You can't choose anything other than an energy builder and a Tier 0 power when first making a hero. In order to get a T1 power (like Bite) as the 2nd power slot, you have to retrain at a Powerhouse when you first get the chance to, and use that powerset's energy builder (here, Bestial Fury) to unlock it by then.

    So what's the easiest way to get in touch with the guy who made the Powerhouse? I already tried the email address on the PH page, but no luck it seems. The reason I ask is because I've been sitting on an up-to-date version (sans icons) for a few days now that I wouldn't mind hosting for people to use, but I also want to make sure I'm not slighting the original creator by doing so.

    Also, as an active player (for the time being!) I can ensure that it stays up to date with each new patch.

    I actually spoke with him not long ago, and he's still working on it in his spare time. He gave me permission to fork the project, as it's open-source, but I'm hesitant to do so because I fully understand that its his baby, and I don't want to steal his thunder as long as the project is still of interest to him.

    I've been thinking it over, and I'm still not sure how I want to proceed.

    I thought about this, but over time, the forked version can end up quite different than the original, to the point where parts from one wouldn't be very compatible with parts from the other. For the version I have, I already added a js file with a few extra functions to make entering the data simpler. While that may be a simple change to adjust to (really only need to add the file to the html with another script tag) at some point, I'd want to change the data portion over from what it uses now (hardcoded directly into arrays) over to something like JSON, at which point they'd pretty much be incompatible.

    It's probably that. Plus, there has been a lot of changes since it was last current. To give you guys an idea of how long it took me to update mine, I had to compare each power and its associated advantages, one at a time, to what's in the game currently and update as needed. This had to be done for every power in the game. There's also new icons on the new powers, but I have no idea how he got such "pure" ability icons (transparent background).

    I believe it's extracted directly from the game's graphics files, but I don't know how to do it. Someone like Brou might know.

    Any word on either versions? Right now, you can barely use it for anything "new", due to the lack of updates. And new in this case is what... the last 6-7 months worth of updates?

    Well, I just started my own fork on Github to make it official, although right now what's there is just a carbon copy of the original author's version. I haven't added the latest changes (post-penitent) to my local copy yet, but when I do, I'll upload the changed files and host it on my own webspace for people to use.

    This wasn't a decision I made lightly, but this game has started down a path where lots of changes are happening at a fairly fast rate. I'm not so sure the original author is going to be able to keep up with these changes since I see no indication that the devs have any plans on slowing down. (And I hope they don't, because there's still a lot of powersets that could use some love)

    So there you have it. Give me a week or so and I'll try to have an updated powerhouse up and running.

    As long as you have his recent approval then I guess its fine. At least, if Nullware has objections then you should be ready to capitulate.

    Good luck, and don't stress out too much while updating the Planner.

    Yeah, in the last correspondence I had with him, he said I'm free to create my own fork due to the open-source nature of the project, and of course my version would also be open source/free to use/etc with the same licensing arrangements. Plus, if a day comes when he makes a full comeback with regular updates/etc, I intend to shelf my version until it's needed again. If he wants my version gone at any point, all he has to do is say so.

    That aside, it's not really very stressful at all. The heaviest lifting is already done--adding Challenge! and Accelerated Metabolism to a crapton of new and existing powers.

    I don't see anything wrong with having a second option. Plenty of games and several different character builders. Think of this as an opportunity to create something a bit different. Didn't you say something about stuff you wanted to change / add?​​
