So after whatever modifications they made to the launcher today went through, the launcher refuses to connect. It just simply times out. This is for both CO and STO.

You're not the only one having issues. Especially since this latest PTS patch release.

For me it's been a series of d/c's while in loading to MC, every time, even changing zones. The on-demand patcher to stops sending data. Massive lag spikes and rubberbanding along with Server Not Responding and sometimes I can't even get to the account server.

I strongly suggest they roll back the PTS patch until the Mega D even is finished. I didn't have any issues until this PTS patch.

I also have been unable to log in. I was hospitalized through yesterday, but neither Saturday nor today have I been able to get in, for the exact Patch Server errors you're showing.

Same here... launch CO, type password, and after a couple of minutes I get the "Connection to account server timed out" message.. however, it happens to me only with CO; not with STO... I wonder if the reason is I got different launchers with each game, so any problem with a game shouldn't affect the other.

This started up for me this morning.

The last time I had this problem, I was unable to log on to Champions Online for over a month. I tried talking to PWE tech support who, while trying to be helpful, gave me the exact same instructions to fix it that I said I'd already tried. Eventually the problem cleared up seemingly on its own, but Tech Support insisted it was a problem on my end.

EDIT: As a note, when I do the tracert, I get a string of 'Request timed out's.

Yeap, same here. Just resubbed with an old account and getting timed out. I can log into PWE and the CO page, but not the game.

I had your problem many times but when I first encountered it I really was so desperate because I was thinking that I could no longer play CO anymore. But I searched the Internet and many people had the same problem like you have right now and like I had and the simplest solution is or rather was, to download the CO launcher (not the whole game, just the launcher, the ChampionsOnline.exe file) and paste it in where you have CO installed!

Whenever I have that issue, I was never able to get this fix to work. However, I've heard from multiple people that this works, so maybe people will have better luck. If you don't it's not just you.

Keep trying various fixes. Wait if you have to. Sometimes it's something totally random that allows me back on.

I'm having the same issue and to add to that, the Champions site won't open for me so now I can't do this whole quick fix that people say is for it to download the launcher.
