Two proposed Lord Gar versions:

Idea 1: I'd see any modern lords as more business-like, hence some armor bits over a suit.



Idea 2: Or he might prefer something totally off the wall, so maybe an Arnim Zola face-in-the-torso vibe might be fun instead.

I actually made this for you some time ago. It's just a generic pic of a turtle on a trail in the woods. I think that it's sized it right so it should be ready to go.




I also made this one but I have no idea if there are Copy Rights involved so you may not want to use it.


It's Lou Gossett, Jr who once played Jeriba Shigan in Enemy Mine. I always felt he looked kind of turtle-ish in that make-up. :biggrin:

I have a bunch more over here if you're not really looking for something turtle related.

They are for anyone, so help yourself.

I actually like that thelostexile made you one from Paint or some thing. It was made with love so you might want to factor that into the equation when choosing.

Okay, here's the one I came up with for now. I wanted to take some time and make a few other outfits as well, but you can't always get what you want, hehe.

Without knowing anything about the character beyond the name and a few descriptors, this is my idea for what Lord Gar would look like. I took as my basic model the warriors from the old 'Camelot 3000' graphic novel and used mostly a mix of Fantasy and Sci-Fi costume parts. The basic toon is one of mine, a heavy-weapons fighter. Screen shots are below...

And by the by, I'm not singling you out, pls don't feel hurt. I bet a lot of people feel this way and I'm talking to all of you that maybe feeling the same way. If you're reading this post, you might as well enter. There's no entry fee, takes up just a few moments of your time, and playing with the Character Creator/Tailor is a lot of fun anyway.

So try! And though you may not win, at least you won't fail.

Ok, I'll toss my hat into this as well.

Cryptonaut Lordgar(with Cryptonaut Champions Tights) Costume:


Notes: For this look, I've done other Cryptic Costumes in the past, I wanted to get the tights to gradiant fade like the champions logo itself and then put armor and such ontop of it to make each individual character. I also tried my best, from the one pic on the net, to make the face look like Lordgar.

Rhaegar Lordgar Costume:


Notes: For this look I wanted to take Lordgar's old PoTBS NPC(yes, he's actually in the game as an NPC) and update the look to something that better suited the Champions Universe.

Congrats to tigerofcachtice, for an excellent costume and a very entertaining comic!

LordGar's already got the AF designed, too. It isn't in tomorrow's patch, but it will be in soon, then I'll get it distributed to you. Going forward, LordGar will be able to give it out in the future.




I've also chosen my new avatar -- props to Bunni B.O.T. for winning the avatar contest! I like the design -- balances that approachable quality that I [like to think I] have, but still has a pretty professional look to it. Plus it's got that blue and red theme, which I like.

Hi guys, I'm a little unprepared because I honestly did not expect to win.

I participated to be part of your COmmunity, just to try my idea against yours.

And every entry was very impressive, a real contender in its own unique way.

I recognized the top dogs of the Costume Contest circuit were here, so it was hard.

In fact, I owe a debt to those CCs. Even those I lost. Especially those I lost.

It's because each loss made me learn and, y'know, I lost more than I care to admit.
