    Did some one link these I wish they would cause if all he said was the stuff along the lines of the PvP community dosn't matter and that there only 2% of the population then I'm not seeing the problem.

    Cause lets face PvP was never really a major part of champions. Hero games was a bone throw to those that wanted a bit of player on player action it was never men't to be IMO a core feature of the game, and now as things stand PvP dosn't matter there are 101 things that need doing before PvP gets some proper attention.

    As to 2% of the population I reckon that's pretty generous.

    I dunno. There's probably about 1000 players playing the game, and on average there's 1 bash going on with between 5-10 people in it. So that's actually between 0.5 and 1 percent of the population.

    Then again, I got my numbers from the same place you and everyone else gets them.

    Not all PvPers PvP all the time....

    Its advertised, its on the website and its in the game so no matter what anyone opinions of it is it is part of champions. Meaning if something is bugged or wrong with it then something is wrong or bugged with champions. Also if you have been around before free to play there was even dev pvp nights weekly!! So its hard to believe it was a last minute addition.

    Change with the devs etc.. has just brought less and less attention to certain parts of the game and sadly pvp is one of them.

    It may be a part but its not a huge part and it never has been and yes a bug in PvP is a bug in champions but is it a high priority bug? is it even a bug that can be fixed? I was also under the impression that much of rage was over the lack of the PvP gear and the high price of the PvP gear that there is. Thats not a game bug unless the price is astronomically high and maybe some one stuck a decimal in the wrong place.

    Saying that I would rather they worked on PvP than lock boxes

    Therakiel's Temple is a very tiny portion of CO, so if it is bugged out in some way it should not be considered a high priority ?

    CO is the sum of many things that are each a tiny part of the whole.

    I get the impression that you are a newer player that has not read the hero games forum enough before posting so let me help you out.

    Bugs/glitches:
    * bash cables distorted since on alert
    * Stronghold turrets turn invulnerable out of no where from time to time since on alert
    * When you get a q for a team pvp instance you are removed from the map after receiving a ten second warning. ( my understanding is that this also happens in pve qs so kinda needs fixed)

    Being lazy:

    * when you click on your main bag then switch over to currency you can see every currency but acclaim, you have to go to the hero games npc's to see that.
    * When we only received two pieces of gear out of all that was promised we received two primaries. Instead of placing these items where they belong under the primary store at the hero games npc's they were placed under every npc. Meaning they are under power replaces and secondaries as well as primary when they are clearly labeled primary.
    *instead of working out the q system they increased it to where 8 or more people have to be qued for a team q to pop so the likely hood of a utc or sh is extremely rare now.

    unprofessional:

    * referring to part of your customer base as the 2%
    * Saying a part of your customer base doesnt matter
    * stopping in communication in a channel about pvp just cause you dont want to hear it cause it doesnt matter.

    Anyways i have many more lists and they are not hard to find!! if you doubt any of this just do some research.

    this current dev team may see pvp as a small part that does not matter but the original team had utc pvp nights every thursday if i remember correctly. Hell used to be every time you checked chat SPEAR,ARC,Dark enforcers, Altered egos or Saikashuu were hosting a pvp tourney ether by itself or combined with something else. All im saying is take a step back and look at pvp in co as a whole from start till now and then post.

    You can also more then likely thank pvpers for a big part of the bugs and glitchs and fixes from pts. Pvpers are competitive min/maxers we are always testing and pushing things to the brink.

    But I will give you this. You know all those games where your character has all sorts of stuff in their inventory but no visible means of actually carrying it? It's not as unrealistic as you think. :wink:

    Also, do not forget that it was in PvP that major game mechanics had to be re-evaluated ( as in Rage of Majesty)

    All PvPers are PvE'rs. It's impossible to get to level 40 without PvE.

    I thought we were talking about itemisation? those have nothing to do with itemisation as as far as i can tell. Also do any of them fall under GCrushes area.

    Ok this ones crushes and more gear should be added but I still question did crush intentunally screw this or was he assigned to something else before he had the chance to do the PvP gear (I would assume PvE gear was done first) say maybe vehicles and there specialist gear/mods? If so dose the blame go to Crush or should it be Aimed at those above him?

    Which I always found annoying why couldn't they have added a PvP tier for 1-5, I've always taken it as more evidence that PvP was just a bolt on feature a kind of mini game.

    This particular one might be considered lazy because it was implemented instead of actually fixing the bugged system. If you opt to not fix the cause of the problem, but rather hide it, you are opening yourself up to accusations of laziness.

    He, as a representative of the company, on company time, made the comment in the context of interacting with customers. Take that how you like, but in my industry if a rep were to be dismissive of a customer because they are members of a minority customer demographic it would not be defensible to say, "he was only expressing a personal opinion and not that of the company when he dismissed you as unimportant."

    Actively discouraging PvP by reducing or removing incentives occurs at the dev end of things.

    A broken or imbalanced game is not the player's fault or responsibility. Keep in mind that only a very small minority of all power adjustments has been for PvP reasons. Your specific example (mini-mines) is an example of something that was adjusted due to PvE performance.

    Coming up on my next 250k for the other PvP primary, and I have to say I do not have confidence it will improve performance.

    This update took away more than it added. There is nothing to work towards. Players wallow in stagnation. Their effectiveness is clamped from the time they leave the powerhouse. What little there is for Acclaim does not have a notable performance effect for competitive players. Vital map mechanics are broken(turrets become immortal, skewing competition), and some present the game sloppily.(Westside BASH still derived from the On Alert PTS Westside that had been damaged by haphazard pole placement.)

    That's trash.

    This game is the face of Cryptic, even if they refuse to acknowledge this, or try to hide it behind a polished mask. Do you honestly want to neglect the very people who can shatter that illusion and show your true face?

    We all know it was most likely a team effort. BUT the difference is the others didn't mouth off on their own channel on two points.

    1: How he was going to be the savior of PvP.

    2: How he hates PvPers.

    Thats just painting a target on ones self when something gets broken. It also causes a mass outbreak of tinfoilhatitus.

    This whole thread is his own doing.

    I'm sure there's a "Yo Dawg" joke to be made here about how players arguing in chat during pvp is like putting pvp in pvp... but I have to go clean out my chicken coup so someone else make the joke for me.

    Had this games devs from the start made it clear this game was about RP PVP/PVE and pushed it be so, then CO would have had a chance.

    Now the game is about WannaPRers, meta game PVPers with no sense of sportsmanship nor care for the gameitself( locusts on the game if you ask me) and PVEers who just want to all be the best without even making a logical and competent build.

    While I will never stop saying Melee SHOULD JUST KILL in this game, and people need to stop taking powers that effectively do the same thing( like more then one single target melee,ranged,pbaoe, and ranged aoe in a build) The game has moved to a point in stagnation that literally makes any hope pointless.

    Well this thread is defunct now anyway. We know what happened now its common knowledge. Crush did not break PvP he didn't get to finish. He was moved to Neverwinter and when he was moved back here he was put onto powers and devices.

    He didn't break PvP. PWE mismanagement did.

    Okay...I sure hope you never uttered any variation of the phrase "Dodge/avoidance is the biggest issue in pvp" ...because I sure heard that thrown around a lot by various people.

    It is. Getting enormous survival ability through dodge/avoidance stacking is an issue. 5k hp quarry dpss tanking grav isn't right.

    The op is just butthurt 'coz the build he "made" (:'-/) is getting nerfed.

    Hey, no disagreement here on dodge. No agreement either. I'm fairly neutral on the issue. But if there is a dodge nerf, I can't wait for all the people who were previously demonizing dodge to start complaining about the nerf... because that's how we do around here.

    And technically, if dodge is getting nerfed, then everyone is getting nerfed... cause who doesn't use an agility primary with gamblers gems?

    Of course I think I see some irony on the horizon... where Quarry is no longer viable and the list of potential builds gets even shorter and everyone is using a defensive passive and no one can kill each other even no morererer.

    Or you know maybe it'll save the whole everything....like

    I remember tanking Grav for a bit with AoRP, now that was hilarious xD

    But agro management of my team mates wasn't super fantastic to be fair, it was fun whilst it lasted :biggrin:

    I'm saying once he touches it won't work at all and become useless measured by countless examples of this happening. Not that I'm "butthurt" but we all knew you resort to the trolling your so famous for here.
