Yaaaay, new powers. (Cue rolling in delicious new powers here.)
Can we get a non-Wrist Bolters Energy Builder on the table at some point? Just a thought. This is absolutely great on it's own, just figured hey... We're in the neighborhood.
<smacks lips> I am looking forward to these new powers something fierce. I've got a new alien toon (surprise surprise) that would be perfect for this.
Also, I am crazy happy about Might getting a kick. Needed effect that should be added to the Madness! advantage: sends defeated back in slow motion. I'm only half joking about this.

I'd honestly prefer a different option that ends with Eyebeams being a better power overall, and a less forced thematics energy builder popping up instead.
Let's face it - eye beams are a very specific power as far as theme goes, and one that doesn't exactly scream 'Power Armor' to me the majority of the time (you see it far more often on straight Energy Projectors than, say, Iron Man or Blue Beetle [the third, if we want to get technical]).

Wow gadgeteering is going really wonky. The good kind of wonky

Woah....was this a big gripe with people or is it meant to help with targeting? If it's the latter then can we get the option to just ignore pets and/or npcs for tab targeting instead?
Game client is crashing when you try to select powers. Any power, in the MC Powerhouse (maybe others). It's on a pre-existing character that was on PTS, I retconned his last two powers, then tried to select a new one, and it crashed.
I'm tired and probably should've been in bed about an hour ago. If more info's needed, I'll try it again tomorrow.

There's an icon missing in the Gadgeteering set. I crashed the second it tried to load it on the purchase powers screen. A friend crashed trying to look at the Gadgeteering powers in the Powers UI.

Agreed which is why ontop of making the power just plain better I often say change or add an advantage that allows you to toggle it on with any power or in the case of pa, no longer count as a head slot but can still be used with pa toggles.

Getting the same bug. Its the Icons for the new powers. If you try to click unavailable and see em or get your t0 and unlock the next tier it crashes.

YUP, can confirm this one.
Tried twice: First time was levelling up a fresh Might toon straight into the post-crisis Powerhouse, right when you skip the tutorial.
Second time was just opening the powerset list on a pre-existing heavy-weapons character with the P-key.
Your databae is corrupt.
I can see the icons but there is something wrong with the IDs of the actual powers, so the game looks for it, and boom headshot.
Man.. got a new deliciously sounding set of powers all ready to go on test and then the crash happens to all. On my birthday no less. Ah well just knowing it's there gives me joy
I shall be patient..for now.

So you are the one to blame for the crashes. The client sensed it was your birthday.
Eye Beams needs to go the OTHER direction (as in usable outside the framework).
It's "iconic", and needs a change to indicate so.
/UN-SIGNED
I don't mind it being a PA toggle, but the power needs a decimal point shifted so it both does real damage, and costs an appreciable amount, to make it competitive with Minigun and, to a lesser extent Shoulder launcher (I say lesser, because SL is really an alpha, whereas Eyebeams and Minigun are something to maintain throughout a fight).
Currently there is no reason to ever take Eyebeams over Minigun. Eyebeams may be "cheap" but it still adds a stacking 15% cost increase to your PA toggles, making it a losing proposition in every single possible case.
Getting the crash as well when opening the power window in the powerhouse. Game locks hard, and you can see the new Gadgeteer powers without icon or name, just the box.
A new energy builder for Gadgeteering, thank you so much that's awesome.
Can't wait to test it.
Also new particle power for power armor I say nice, but I will still wait the full power armor review before touching my current character .
Ok Crash here like anybody else, I was able to retcon my character, then choose superstat, talent and travel power without any problem.
Then I pick up the new endurance builder and then the game crashed straigh away.
I restarted retcon the power I picked, was able to open the power windows again and choose a tiers 0 gadgeteering power (experimantal blaster), just after I choose a second power (experimental burst Ray) the game crash.
Hero Games: Players in team games now have a circle beneath their feet to indicate what team they are on.
Oh noes this will hurt me  With this it will be easier to be spotted by the enemy team, they don't need a crutch. Please remove it, we really don't need this.
Why are you adding this? Can we get a way to turn these circles off for those who like things the way they've always been?
Maybe it's there to help with pet users and such. Does it only show up on the players themselves, or on everybody on one side (including pets)? Can the circle be clicked to help with targeting as well perhaps?
Additionally, just hitting P on a transferred character caused a total crash out as well.
Furthermore, after copying a character over to the PTS via the Character Copy Utility, I arrived without any equipped items. They'd all vanished. I had all the items in my bag, all my devices, all my powers, and all my costumes, but anything that was equipped (Primary/Secondary Defense, Offense, Utility) was missing.

Because targeting pet users by clicking with the mouse even if you can visually pick them out of the mob is so functional.
BUG REPORT: Repeated Crash to Desktop when attempting to load the Gadgeteer power-select menu when talking to the trainers in the 'Powerhouse Post-Invastion' (Untested as to weather this affects other instances of the menu)

Ditto on 'why'. This seems like a solution to a non-problem, since if you want to make enemy players visible there's already HUD options that will do the job. If it's for pets, well, the problem with pet targeting is not identifying the target, I'm totally aware that that ice structure over there is not an enemy player.

They should make Eyebeams the Power Armor EB.

Hmm..interesting..
o-o Holy $h!+
I need to try this out pronto
Thanks guys!
and perfect timing, the retro sci-fi set screams gadgeteer to me, time to finally make one!

i am having this issue as well

Darn you, crashy bug thing, darn you!
Better on test than on live.

The game did it to spite me. But that's alright. CAN"T KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN

Add me to the list of people not sure why we need circles.
Also, add me to the list of people who wants ignore pets as a target option so the game is playable with controller again.
This!... is!...
Had to reboot to get out of the lock.

And why rifle specific powers? Having a hole bunch of interchangeable ray gun settings would be cool.

Why isn't one of these new powers T3?
I mean Experimental Blaster is pretty good for a T1.
i agree with this, i dotn want colour circles (no one has problem identifying who is on opposite team) and targetting issues are reall problem
also getting crash when i try to open up technology tree in powers
Maybe it's there to help with pet users and such. Does it only show up on the players themselves, or on everybody on one side (including pets)? Can the circle be clicked to help with targeting as well perhaps?
Can we at least get an option of the new powers as one-handed weapons? Ray-guns is a staple of sci-fi heroes, after all.
