I haven't been terribly active on the forums but I'm pretty sure I've seen you around in-game. And yeah, I know about Francis, but I've tried to make him the best homage I can. He started out as a gag and turned into an actual character.
I like the Jade Wolf's backstory. Is that an intentional homage to the Phantom, or just a coincidental relationship?
partly influenced, i mean i only remember the phantom from a movie i saw as a kid. The main idea behind his backstory was how to get from my 50s Jade Wolf i used to play to present day jade wolf withought playing as an old geezer. Phantom was in the back of my head, the black mask was a major inspiration but i didn't want the heroes related by blood and also wanted something to make them special without giving them any actual superpowers (none of my heroes actually have any SP of their own). So it hit me, having something like heredetary memory and experiences through the use of a ring that holds within it the concience of the origin (a strange specter rummored to be the first Jade Wolf, a medieval hunter killed by a sun spirit out of jealousy of jade's afair with a beautiful moon spirit. After that, the moon spirit, salvaged his soul and placed it on a ring so he could live through the rings wearer. Unfortunately for them the spell was not stable and the origin could not ocupy the body of the wearer, but he could record and bestow experiences of his and the people wearing the ring)

Oooh, I really like Decay's look. And I need to retcon Technoviking and start working on leveling him some more, he's languished a bit while I've been working on Anarchodroid, Francis and Nachthexe.

Nemesis. The black armor with green glow and holograms is a great look. I like that the armor isn't shiny...it gives a nice effect. Also, +1 for using regeneration!
See now I take more of a liking to Black Wing not for the obvious caped crusader motif but the fact that ti looks and feel like an old school classic superhero sort of look

Yups, that was the idea behind that one. While the inspiration source is clear (the caped crusader himself, not any of the existing female counterparts) I wanted to give her a twist of my own and at the same time keep the classic hero look. I'll post full body shots later on the next update to my thread.
