Windlass, and not just 'cos i'm a sucker for any toon that likes to play with arrows. ;)
    Naestra. I have literally not seen a single toon like that (nor using that headgear). And I love the look.

    thanks, Kenpo! you should see her when she's got earth flight going and her wolves out to play. it really completes the look.

    I'm pretty proud of him. If only he didn't only speak in hieroglyphs.

    Lester. Totally Lester. >.<b Though I admit I have to wonder precisely what a Crime Accountant is <@.@>

    Someone else can choose their favorite, so this doesn't become a selection circle-jerk, but LESTER is a Crime Accountant.

    Lester is a guy for whom I have a pretty realized conceptualization. He is an everyman hero at first, Michael Douglas from Falling Down, taking down crime in his neighborhood. His MO is to kill crime where it hurts the most: he beats up criminals, finds their money and things, and then takes them. He uses their own weapons to expand his arsenal, and uses the money partly for charity and, as time goes by, to increasingly fund his crime-fighting endeavors.

    As Lester begins to collect more goodies and become more proficient, he also becomes more powerful. He will possess a hodge-podge of powerful weapons, and eventually he will be upgraded to a power armor to fight an alien invasion (Jovarians, part of another character's backstory). He never started out being a hero, but in the end, it turns out he's really good at it.

    From a character motivation perspective, he struggles as he grows. He started out protecting his neighborhood, and he has to weigh his increasing ability to help the world at large and his commitment to staying close to home and helping there. His entire purpose for starting was his simplistic disgust at the abandonment of common folks by the "capes", but as he gains more power, he begins to see the subtle nuances and consequences of decisions of action AND inaction. No decision is ever perfect, and he is forced to suffer through crises of faith and conscience in order to choose between the greater goods and the lesser ones.

    I'll get in on this. I like Dueces Wylde, though I think he'd make a better villian than hero, at least in look. His bio is a good explanation against that though, and like the concept of being more of a villian to villians than a true good guy.

    I mainly stick to classic style heroes so some of my concepts or kind of simple. I also don't have much written for bios but some have a short summary to give you an idea. Click my sig to check them out. Renegade is my main and I'm currently tweaking his costume so what you see is just something I'm trying out on him for now.

    I like Renegade. The muted green offsets the bright green nicely, and the striped face kinda leads your eye into the toon. Justice was a close second.

    Skeeter, Dr. Marvello has indeed been through a makeover. I still have his old costumes, but this is his post-patch look. He started out as a toon my son made called the Doctor. He had never heard of Doctor Who (I have failed!) and when he abandoned him, I had to change the name.

    I dig all the puns (and props for having so many toons on their way in leveling- every one I clicked on was 20+)

    My fav is Depth Charge- awesome name, solid backstory and sexy color scheme.

    Thank you! I enjoy making them, I'm glad someone enjoys seeing them. Depth Charge has beastly stance and acrobatics - he looks so much better in action . . . :D

    @Monotypist - <^_^> Why thank you! I'm pretty excited that with the new Gadeteering power and the possibility of raygun customization, I'll finally be able to get her off the couch. She's kind of a combination Retraux pulp and Sci-Fi western character >,>

    As for Llne - She's actually a Nemesis rather than a character (but I built her has one for the Nemesis Thread in this forum) - the glow is actually fairly illusory in that it's just the glowy bits combined with the blackness that makes it look like she's glowing a little.

    The bits in question are the Qlipothic costume pieces (shoulders, bracers, hips, boots and helmet) from the Demonflame pack <^-^> totally worth the time spent getting em. The glow is, I believe, the 2nd lightest non-pastel cool blue. I'd have to actually pull out the color chart and circle it to show you exactly since I can't remember the precise spacing ><

    ===========

    @Speedknob -

    I'm thinking Soul Searcher. I love the clever use of the Psi chest pattern + shoulders to create a Latin cross <^-^> For some reason he looks vaguely familiar too >< I was originally thinking The Confessor from Astro City, but I checked to be sure and his costume is quite different, so I'm not sure what I'm thinking of. Maybe it's just deja vu hehe <^.^>

    Regardless, I like the character!

    holy crap somebody's been busy.

    Slapperfish is clearly one of the most innovative costume tailors in the game. There are a lot of costumes in there that I would not have thought possible, and just going through the names and thumbs is a blast. Easter Island Ned is my fav, he's a beaut. But everybody should go in there and look closely.

    How much time do you spend in the tailor? The devs should start giving come of you guys infinite characters and costumes.

    @Slapperfish - I love your characters so much >_< How do I pick just one?

    However I will go with Surfing Bird, because he's actually convincing as an anthropomorphic bird <@.@> which is surprising given how hard that is to do in this game.

    I'd say Jean the Lion, because it reminds me somewhat of a mix between protoss and terran in starcraft. Most other characters as sweet as well.

    I dont have as many characters to bring to the table and to be honest Im only happy with two of them, just a little with a third. My personal favs are Blackwolfe -> Bloodwing -> Professor Spazoo.

    Would have had them in better poses etc, but as you probably know, changing stuff for a character profile can act really funky. After playing this game for a little more than a week, it has never worked for me. Heck I cant even make an avatar for the forum, custom or main..
