it wouldn't be so bad if every stat no matter how small the amount you had did something useful (went through this same song and dance in War.. really 7 will[power on a SM tank/DPS gear? wth)
right now most stats dex/ego/int especially don't do a damn thign for anyone in low amounts. If they all scaled properly and did somethign even witht he amoutns we are forced to take with crafted gear.. i might use them.
I miss diablo d2/lod/hellgate 100% random loot pinatas.. at least there you had more of a chance of getting what you wanted.
Ok, the main point the devs seem to be missing/ignoring (or both), is that most players have CUSTOM builds, which do not fit into the cookie-cutter "arms is for these power sets, science is for these, etc" that the crafting npcs tell you about. As a result, the current crafting situation gives very little that players can make that is better than mission rewards/random mob drops.
This is WRONG. As it stands, the only things crafting is good for are bags and consumables, with the occasional use device (holds, personal force field).
If you want to fix it, give us back the enhancements you took away, but make them bind on create. At least people will be able to make something useful for themselves instead of avoiding crafting completely now.
