How viable a DPS using only Sorcery powers is? If it's viable, what powers should I pick?
Is it better to choose a specific theme (Darkness, Infernal, etc), or mixing powers? @flowcyto could you help me out?
Sorcery is a fine set to make a dps build from. Its a solid, versatile powerset overall. It'll kinda depend if you want to dps form >50ft or not, as adding in Hex gives it higher dps, but is limited to 50ft (and you can also use Skarn's for AoE, though its also 50ft limited). A long-range version should prob just use the Wisp from Infernal SN to boost Soul Beam, and Star Barrage for 100ft AoE. Here's a long-range dps version, for reference:

Pretty straightforward to play: use Wisp on cd for debuffs/buffs and Conjuring, Soul Beam for Single targets, and Star Barrage for AoE. Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Dex.
