For what it's worth, both the Tide Pod "challenge" and the condom-snorting "challenge" appear to be about as real as lipstick parties or the "meanings" of colored bracelets in junior high. (Or for that matter Satanic D&D!)

Some folks just need something to panic over, I guess, and "what your kids are doing when you're not watching" is a fertile field.
