what should I do after Max rank?

same as title.

I am a new player, just got my 4 characters max rank, I don't know what to do next. I bought some gears from Qstore and Drifter, so what should I do now ?

Also how can I get golds faster? Seems this game too old, dont have much gold sellers I can't now buy it from others.

Buying gold from gold sellers is like, against the rules and could get you banned, not something you want to advertise to be doing. Anyway the best way to convert real world money to gold is to buy Cosmic Keys and selling them for about 75-80g each. If you buy the 20 key pack you get them a bit cheaper than a buck apiece and also get some other stuff along with it that you can sell off. You can try your luck with the lockboxee and actually use the keys to open boxes, and you might get lucky, but selling the keys is the more reliable thing to do.

As far as what to do at max level try joining "TheEndGame" channel and chatting there with folks about what you can do. The giant monster hunts are pretty popular and one of my favorite things to do in the game.

Have you completed the Apocalypse, and then cleaned up Vibora Bay? Have you cleared out all the problems in Lemuria? Visited Snake Beach and the volcano on Monster Island? Or did you, like so many others, think the game was all about Alerts and never actually got around to playing it as such?

Well assuming you have cleared all the zones. Vibora, Lemuria, Monster Island, Desert, and MC. They have a high level boss fights and cosmic. There is also a high level gear to be obtained doing Alert: Rampages and by fighting cosmics. There is an event going on now in MC...join in.

Fastest ways to get "gold"

1. Run Smash alerts. It's the third one down on the list and is extremely short. It not only gives you "gold" but also, it gives you a bonus to currency gains for the duration. People are almost always doing these for obvious reasons so the queues are extremely short.
2. If you're a whale, buy keys and sell them on the exchange. This one works in STO, anyway.

As for gear, I wouldn't go buying gear off the questionite store. It's overpriced for what it is. The best "easy" gear to get is cheap level 40 blue gear with sockets off the exchange--make sure it's level 40 gear.

After that is Heroic gear from the recognition vendor. You can get silver chump recognition (SCR) by doing whatever the daily smash/grab/burst alert is, as well as whatever the weekly custom alert is. The quests for these can be obtained at the central kiosk with defender and a bunch of other random NPCs in the ren center. You can also try the quilipothicasaaghasdf war zone dailies for much faster SCR gains, but they can be tough if you're not prepared.

Now if you want the best gear available, join in the giant cosmic animal farming groups and kill the same open-world bosses until your eyes glaze over and your finger bleed. Just be ready for a slow, agonizing, and ultimately boring grind once the novelty of KILLING BIG BOSSES WITH LARGE GROUPS OF PEOPLE wears off.​​

I remember back in the old days, we played the game and got Gear.
'Gold sellers'...
Ah, you're one of those player types.....
Good thing "gold" doesn't mean that much in this game like it does in those Gold Seller Games.
Some poor basterds sometimes pop up to do that, but are soon slithering back in their slimeyholes.

Yeah GCR gear can't be sold so there's a major fundamental limitation on actually selling gear in this game.

The real question here, is, how did you get to level 40? Did you just smash your way there? Or play the story missions in the world? I find that most players (new ones that is), tend to not know about the desert, canada, Monster Ilse, Vibora, or...the water place. So, you could run around and "enjoy" the story. Or, just grind Cosmics. Up to you.

There really isn't, though. Compared to a lot of other games I've played, CO is actually pretty generous in terms of endgame-level gear exchanging. GCR (and onslaught) gear is pretty much the only (meaningful) equipment you can't trade to other players.​​

2. The last one who determinedly tried, kept getting all their accts reported by players. AS soon as they said anything, they got report spam done to them.

You want gear in this game, you get it yourself.

Yeah, They seemed to get report-spammed simultaneously by pretty much everyone in zone simultaneously.
