Actually, you're supposed to defeat your opponent. The main problem with teleport is that it buys you time, but it also gives your opponent time.

If I can't defeat you then I sure as hell am going to make sure you can't defeat me. "Stand there and fight" is kinda silly in a game that has pvp like ours.

Actually for some people BASH is just about surviving so you can brag about how you "pwned" everyone, even if you didn't actually defeat anyone.
