A simple suggestion,
outside of combat make teleport last indefinitely until deviated [this would necessitate the removal of the "floating effect" after exiting teleport.. but eh, i can live with that
in combat teleport would last 5 seconds and have it's combat CD [aka it would work how it does right now in combat]
reason for suggestion: to make getting around via teleport TP less... tedious

I like Teleport (and its siblings) for thematic purposes, but daaamn is it a pain to get around with. Sometimes, rubberbanding happens in between uses, the slowfall doesn't apply properly and you immediately drop straight down when you phase back in, etc. I'd be totally fine with the slowfall effect getting canned if it meant I could be phased out indefinitely while out of combat. Less hassle and all that.
I've often found the "reason" as to why you cannot sustain teleport for more than 5 seconds in a standard sense a bit off.
