Giving the alert bosses a little more mechanic than just blocking attacks you can't soak wouldn't necessarily be bad. Though it would be easy to screw it up like some other content. No freaking one-shot attacks though. <</p>
Perhaps a boom that gives one of those stupid long holds if not blocked?
That does put their rewards about even with the other alerts. Smash is a bit of resources, and grab no longer has a reward at all once you're level 40. Bursts are there for farming low rank mods so you can fuse them upwards. I'm sure there's someone out there who actually does that.
Not farming per se, but I just give all my mods to one character for administration (well, actually, two. Adam Arcane does the character ones and Barnstormer gets all the vehicle mods). They add up over time, although not quickly.
Just like you all to know that I've already passed the twenty minute mark waiting for my first Burst Alert today to pop. Which is ridiculous because it's the daily alert mission. So I figured this topic is still relevant.
