...with a new Inferno hideout!

This would be a cave hideout, but with minimal new art assets, mostly using existing ones as the custom decorations; this should be feasible with mostly recycled pieces. You can also include some of the nastier devices from the Sanctum hideout or the Vampire place in Vibora -- drink from our fountain of blood! -- pools of magma instead of the fire pit, demon statues for the wardrobe and inventory, and don't forget the dancing imps and writhing bodies. The soundtrack can be screaming sounds, evil laughter, and dark mood pieces.

Sure to be a hit with at least half of the player base, given the character themes in this game! :)

I've been to hell, looks nothing like people think it looks like. Its full of rainbows, ponies, flowers, unicorns, with everything singing joyous songs with smiles on their faces.

that was just the tour; once you actually end up there, it looks a lot worse

    kind of like this joke
    The Lawyer's Choice

Once upon a time there was a lawyer who lived her whole life without ever taking advantage of any of the people she worked for. In fact, she made sure that every job she did resulted in a win-win situation. One day while walking down the street she was tragically hit by a bus and she died. Her

soul arrived in heaven where she was met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter himself.

"Welcome to Heaven," said St. Peter. "Before you get settled in though it seems we have a problem. You see, strangely enough, we've never once had a lawyer make it this far and we're not really sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," said the lawyer.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have higher orders. What we're going to do is let you have a day in Hell and a day in Heaven and then you can choose whichever one you want to spend an eternity in."

"Actually, I think I've made up my mind...I prefer to stay in Heaven."

"Sorry, we have rules..." And with that St. Peter put the lawyer in an elevator and it went down-down-down to Hell. The doors opened and the lawyer found herself stepping out onto the putting green of a beautiful golf course. In the distance was a country club and standing in front of her were all her friends--fellow lawyers that she had worked with and they were all dressed in evening gowns and cheering for her. They ran up and kissed her on both cheeks and they talked about old times.

They played an excellent round of golf and at night went to the country club where she enjoyed an excellent steak and lobster dinner. She met the Devil who was actually a really nice guy (kind of cute) and she had a great time telling jokes and dancing. The lawyer was having such a good time that before she knew it, it was time to leave. Everybody shook her hand and waved goodbye as she got on the elevator.

The elevator went up-up-up and opened back up at the Pearly Gates and found St. Peter waiting for her. "Now it's time to spend a day in Heaven." So the lawyer spent the next 24 hours lounging around on clouds and playing the harp and singing. She had a great time and before she knew it her 24 hours were up and St. Peter came and got her. "So, you've spent a day in Hell and you've spent a day in Heaven. Now you must choose your eternity." The lawyer paused for a second and then replied, "Well, I never thought I'd say this, I mean, Heaven has been really great and all, but I think I had a better time in Hell."

So St. Peter escorted her to the elevator and again the lawyer went down-down-down back to Hell. When the doors of the elevator opened she found herself standing in a desolate wasteland covered in garbage and filth. She saw her friends were dressed in rags and were picking up the garbage and putting it in sacks. The Devil came up to her and put his arm around her. "I don't understand," stammered the lawyer. "Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and a country club and we ate lobster and we danced and had a great time. Now all there is a wasteland of garbage and all my friends look miserable."

The Devil looked at her and smiled. "That's because yesterday you were a recruit, but today you're an associate."

By contrast, heaven supposedly involves worshiping god for all eternity. No loud metal, no violent video games, no creative sex, no free thought, none of that. Just 24/7 church until the end of time.

If that's not eternal torment, I don't know what is.
(Hopefully) Useful CO Resources: HeroCreator (character planner), Cosmic Timers/Alert Checklist, Blood Moon Map, Anniversary Cat Map, and more (eventually, anyway).

    ...with a new Inferno hideout!

Isn't this just the primal cave with lava, torches, and braziers?

not hellish enough; think diablo's depictions of hell; walls made of human flesh and bone spikes everywhere, endless seas of lava with skeletons desperately trying to climb out of it, failing and sinking back into the molten rock (this was actually a thing in diablo 2; if you waited long enough in the river of flame, you would see exactly that at some locations), tons of skull piles everywhere and all manner of demonic symbols and sigils

No no no, that the HUMAN idea of hell, real hell is what I said. I've actually been there. As for heaven, aesica is basically right.

You might have a misunderstanding of the true nature of God. All of that is stuff he likes.

How did a conversation about a hideout idea turn into a metaphysical / religious / philosophical discussion about the nature of parareality?

I have no idea what just happened, but when it comes in Religious symbolism and mythos about videogames, the only videogame series I care about is Shin Megami Tensei

So on a downer note, without Tumberboy I doubt the hideouts will ever
    1.Get revamped
    2.Get additional features
    3.we will get new hideouts

and current devs have shown 0 interest on hideouts and improving them, it's only focused on more cooperation endgame stuff

Hell im still waiting for Questionite storage QoL in hideouts

That could be a form of hell if everyone is forced to pretend they're happy.

Like slaving for a living cause that's all we're expected to do for the faceless elite empire.

Want to get to know me a bit better, Click me and take a read of My Dragon Profile Page, it's a bit dated but still relevant.

I take this quote from a review that I agree with.

"customisation is so linear; everyone is after the optimal dps:survivability ratio with 0 reliance on other players = autonomous gameplay... Players don't need each other anymore... which in my opinion is a bad thing."

    There's metal music in hell!

But only in the personal ones where you're locked in an elevator, and the metal songs are done by the Mantovani Strings.

"LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT! ARRRRRRRRGH!" :)
    'Dec out
