The belt/buttcape should had been available in the Hip accesories as well, so if Tail and belt are already occupied you could have a 3rd option
This cape keeps reminding me of Yuna from Final Fantasy

So much negativity toward the single piece costume unlocks. What if, next time, they gave us the best of both worlds? Single drops as well as the (rarer) whole package?
The negativity is because we've done this 'experiment' before and it was a terrible idea back then and it's still a terrible idea. Also because history makes that what if unlikely. Because that doesn't increase key sales.

Honest question: Why's it such a terrible idea? I'm not trying to say "IM RIGHT UR RONG" or anything like that. I just genuinely don't get why people seem to hate it so much. Is it because people want the whole set of unlocks vs me, who really only ever wants a couple things from each set?
(Hopefully) Useful CO Resources: HeroCreator (character planner), Cosmic Timers/Alert Checklist, Blood Moon Map, Anniversary Cat Map, and more (eventually, anyway).

Because people hate cash grabs, which is all this 'experiment' is. Along with getting multiples of less common costumes, which is a terrible feeling when spending real money, there is a good chance that that one or two pieces you want may never drop so you have to rely on a player based economy. As the whales get what they want fewer players will be opening lockboxes, which reduces the supply of items from that lockbox which in turn increases the cost of those items in the AH.
Well, really, there has been no good reason advanced why they can't have all the pieces in a single box for players who prefer that route, and also have them all separate. They have tried each of these approaches before, so putting them in the lockboxes separately is hardly an "experiment." Doing both together would be something new, and worth the experiment.
ok.. sooo... you don't want to trade with other players... and that's the entirety of your reason to dislike it?
That is not the issue. The issue is that we dont want to feel cheated when we are spending real money on keys, and we dont want to deal with massively inflated priced on items that are supposed to have the same drop rates as the parts we keep getting from our attempts..
Also, as it has been stated countless times already. They tried the individual pieces route before, and NOBODY liked it. It makes it feel even more grindy than it already was and incase you weren't aware, everyone is annoyed with how grindy everthing has been becomming.
We want to have fun and enjoy the game, and when we choose to spend money we want to feel as though we are actually getting our moneys worth in return. Buying keys at 100z ech to open lockboxes rewarding items we dont want/need that either dont sell or will only sell for a tiny ammount certainly makes us feel cheated. Similarly, opening the box for just one piece of a set does the same.
Most costume sets on the cstore cost 350z to 750z for full sets. We have to spend a minimum of 1500z for the full lockbox set, and thats with perfect luck. When it was a full set unlock, we atleast had the chance to get it for 100z, however slim it was. That added value. However all the worthless junk removed value...
As I've said on many occations over the past several years, lockboxes would be better if they made them actually worth opening. Ways to do that are: Remove the junk from the primarily rewards list Reduce key price/sell multiple for 100z Make ways to obtain some keys in game that doesnt involve anyone buying them for zen Give lockboxes a small chance to return a key Add the rewards to the cstore after the lockbox runs its course
Also, let me stress this point: THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN SPENDING REAL MONEY ON AN INGAME ITEM AND GETTING NOTHING BUT WORTHLESS CONSUMABLE JUNK OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!
Items of value in lockboxes: Costume Sets Power unlocks (still should NEVER HAVE BEEN IN THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE) Travel device Loyal sidekicks Unlimited use devices Auras Legion/Merc gear
Items of no value in lockboxes: (JUNK) - make these secondary rewards to give them value. Boosters (keep as guaranteed item) Mods (chance secondary) One-time use devices (chance secondary) Questionite crates (chance secondary) Drifter crates (chance secondary)
Lockboxes have always been a scam. It's nothing new. The game economy is still trashed by the way lockboxes have been added and pushed. It should be glaringly obvious when Vixy is talking about making 5k g in the 10 minutes spent opening and listing crap on the AH. Trying to make that by actually playing the game is painfully grindy and time consuming.
Nothing has actually changed. At all. Not even a tiny bit.
and then you gonna get people with MULTIPLY costume trash pieces from the lockbox who will be unable to sell them
already people in trade community have stated that this Lockbox has the WORST Values
I really don't understand why you don't put more useful stuff in the lockboxes instead of removing old favorite (Legion gear, because apparently the market has been "flooded" with them...) or complety breaking down costume sets
Why aren't Vouncher foils part of newer costumes? why are they only part of the collector box? Do you realize how frustating is it for people who are after the foils?
Trading in a full set of the Cybernetic Costume set will get you the Cybernetic title.
Trading in a full set of the Cyber Stealth Costume set will get you the Wireframe title.
Trading in a full set of the Mechanical Monster Costume set will get you the Deadlock title.
Getting all three perks will get you the Hacker title, which grants you the Talk Defensive emote. This emote unlocks account wide.
You know what? This is really pathetic! Not only gathering all the costumes is a nightmare, the rewards are really underwhelming
We live in an age that ACCOUNT BOUND EMOTES are considered a Luxury, this is sad
The emote itself is not even great, its boring

I hope I'm not ambushed for saying this, but I've thoroughly enjoyed this lockbox. I like that I can hunt down pieces separately and get what I can afford piece by piece instead of having to save up 600+ for the whole set. I feel more active and involved and overall just more interested in this lockbox to the point I'm considering buying keys with actual money, and I never do that.
Even if I get all of the costume pieces before I get the keys, I would still consider buying them because [1] I thoroughly want upload teleport and that lock on device and [2] I know the chances of me getting something I can sell is higher so it's not a total waste of money. Keys are like.. a dollar? That's not a significant loss for me if I was already willing to pay $10 to get the zen in the first place. I can always save the rest of the zen and put it toward something in the Z-Store. However, I do feel the overall value of the lockbox has been decreased by not including gear.
Anyway, my 2 cents.
I say stuff and I say things, sometimes together but only when I'm feeling adventurous.
Wow! That's a big oops. I had just restarted leveling a TK dps build (mix of melee and range) and was counting on this mod to affect all the TK attacks (afterall, Medusa does use ranged and melee attacks).
This is not the first time a powerframe boost MOD gets released live

I finally have been able to get more alien organic weapon unlocks! Thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou!
I'm still grinding for the gadroon box piece and to help my brother and a friend to get some of them too. I hope the rest of the alien organic weapons will return too, perhaps in Qularr open missions. I'm really hoping for Qularr and Gadroon vehicles too.
Thankyou!
