CO on Polygon: Monster Factory

Been noticing more and more people uploading CO YouTube videos. This one from Polygon's Monster Factory, in particular has nearly 200,000 views so far (uploaded only last Jan. 13, 2017, which is ok. Any positive attention the game gets is a good thing (trolling the bug report's "meh", though):

What's this I see people talking about a part 2? are they going to revisit CO for another one??

Ack! Didn't notice that. "World's Greatest Dad" title threw me off. My bad. Admin can close this one to avoid doubling down.

Yeah, trolling bug reports is definitely a sore spot (Couldn't leave well enough alone, could they). But at least the Service team put the kibosh on that.

Some aren't so bad...but like when they are bad they are EXTREMELY bad. I don't get what that predator look is going for.

I think they were trying to emulate the "Predator" from the movies, but lampshaded it with a Wolf-like theme to avoid copyright mess.

But really bad AT looks? The Mind. I mean, ok, he's supposed to be cerebral and mentally aware and stuff... but that all-white ensemble has got to go.

And they hit the nail on the head with The Mountain. "It's the Thing... with a cape!"

I actually love the Predator costume, but that's because it's so terrible it's glorious.

My best guess is: Showing off what sort of nutty stuff you can make with our costume creator. Some of the earlier AT costumes don't do that so well. "Look you can make a guy in a traditional tights-based costume! Just like in DCUO!"

I met some of these toons in the video tonight at Club Caprice. Monking, Robot Monster, and a few others. No knife dad though.

Yeah, they did say they're retiring Knife Dad for now but expecting their SG to continue. They'll probably either revisit the game down the road with that or a new character. Depends on their mood.
