Constant Bloodmoon sky makes the game feel...dreary

I know this might sound kind of silly, but having the constant bloodmoon sky in every single zone all the time makes the game feel kind of dreary to me. I know it's because of the event, and the event itself is cool. But maybe when the event is active, could we get at least one "normal" zone?

    Just bear with it. It's October so creepy spooky dreary stuff is everywhere. It's only for 1 month anyway.

    The end of Blood Moon is always sweet release for me. I can't stand that red overlay. But, the devs will have their atmosphere. **shrugs**

    Tbh, I prefer BM's atmosphere than Nightmare Invasion piercing purple overlay.

    Honestly, I find them both...unpleasant...over a prolonged period of time. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy the events, I just wish that it wasn't a *constant* visual once it started. That said, taste is subjective, and I'm sure there are others who enjoy it. So my request is *not* to remove anything, but just to keep one "normal" zone during events.

    It goes on for too long. In a couple of days I got all the stuff I wanted and now I am actively avoiding the game till after Halloween.

    Nightmare event was a lot worse, I complain about it in zone and people call me one dumb r-tard




    Dark purple sky with huge SUN(?) making everything bright n yellow n shiiiit.

    Turning off post processing made everything GREEEEN

    Bloodmoon and Nightmare Invasion really ruins the game's visuals during those days

    I really wish we could turn off those settings

    especially the Nightmare Invasion ones, OH MY GOD why is everything so bright?​​

    You actually make an interesting point. IMO, a superhero game needs to have zones that represent the genre. There should be bright, "hopeful" places like Metropolis, and Dark gritty places like Gotham. And everything in between. But the issue I have with these events is when they are active, there are no bright/hopeful places in the game. Every zone has the "dark" vibe. So, once again: I'm not asking they stop/remove the events, just keep one "normal" zone when events are active.

    Avianos is correct effects like intense bloom can cause eyestrain.

    Don't worry, the nightmare invasion will show up again at some point and make everything better.
    (Hopefully) Useful CO Resources: HeroCreator (character planner), Cosmic Timers/Alert Checklist, Blood Moon Map, Anniversary Cat Map, and more (eventually, anyway).
