Anniversary Favor amounts seem very low and rare

Anniversary Favor event money too scarce?

I don't know, I went across a bunch of older characters and mailed all my old presents to one character with an eye on the Dripping Wet aura.

Now, I only used up 132 presents so far, but .. I only got a total of 52 favor from them. that's .. mighty low.

How are we supposed to acquire the Anniversary favor for the event, did I miss something? I only got some for the daily [ certainly not much] and two or four rarely when opening Presents.

Is there another way to get it I missed? if not, can the rarity of the Favor drops be increased, or can we get favor from defeating level-appropriate enemies during the event or something?

If they keep that cool mask (350 favor) in the store, I should be able to get it by the 10th-11th anniversary event. In other words, seconded. I'm hoping some kind of event will be added later in the month that provides an alternate route to getting this stuff.

I've opened ~500 on one character, and I'm up to 238 favor. That the gifts are a device with a cooldown is just an extra little kick to the shins.

So yeah, I agree that there definitely needs to be something more. Ideally, a daily quest that gives players either a small, quick task or even just a daily check-in with X amount of event currency as a reward. The daily gift would actually be a perfect way to inject a little extra per-character. This extra should be bound, in fairness, but would be extremely appreciated for those of us who lack the time to set up camp and grind, grind, grind, grind for hours on end.

none of them have favors, in fact one of them just says "opens present" no rewards....

Yeah, between this and the upcoming changes to high-end gear prices, I'm pretty much giving up on getting anything from Events. If I can't buy it in the C-store, I'm not going to count on ever having it.

It's a tad disappointing - I really wanted to see that Glitter aura on Starfall - but I'll deal.​​

There's a "glitter" aura in the drifter store. No idea if it's the same or not, but the drifter one looks more like confetti.

bag drop rate. doing missions I got 4 from 200 kills​​

yeah I went around Westside massacring every large enemy grouping I saw and got around 10 total..... didn't bother doing body count but probably several hundred.

I did both an hour in Westside massacring weak enemies, and a half an hour in Monster island north where there are lvl 41 foes, and same deal either way; very few presents.

I think im going to hold off, the drop rate wasnt this poor last year, you would get a present every other mob you attacked, and in some cases, 2 presents. Im guessing they changed the drop percentage. Lets see what the new way brings before i take more time from my daily's. I still had stocked up presents from last year, i gained a few more favors from them...i opened 60 presents i had in my bank, still only have around 70 favors total. I used to get around 30-40 presents in an hour of blasting mobs, the purple gang and those frog invaders hated me. But all that city exploring allowed me to find so many easter eggs.

Each present should at least give one favor in addition to the random items (drinks, cakes, etc). Getting a crappy slice of cake would be easier to swallow if it came with one favor as well.

I spent over an hour in the Desert, catching prisoners and stopping aliens and fighting VIPER around Area 52, and not one present dropped. I did level up a couple of times, though.​​

That's a glitch involving the description for the "The Amazing Regenerating Water Baloon Sponsored By Foxbat" being too long. No popup tooltip shows up, but the dialogue for it does appear in your chat log.

Apparently there is a chance for the boxes themselves to drop some of the new stuff by random, but I haven't seen anything yet.

yeah every year we get new costume parts and you can on occasion get the costume parts in gift boxes. I've gotten two so far, but older costume parts.

But hey, they're aiming for that CO lasts to the 10th Anniversary, atleast.
So theres some positivity of all that Token grind.
Like really.

Just skip the Auras. They're like 'bleh'. To me.

I have gotten four of the new costume pieces from anniversary gifts (hands, feet, and two bows).

The drop rate of bags is low, but some give 4 favor.
