I really enjoy this alert, I really do
But the amount of Bugs here is making this alert a Russian Roulette every time you PUG
so I decided to make a list about the issues, feel free to add additional Bugs
Alert completition is failing to give Credit
Ancient known issues, the alert completitions sometimes won't give you Credit for the
- FATAL ERROR: RAID Array
- ALERTS: Vigilance
Admitably the previous rotation fixed this issue, but not 100%
during the previous rotation, I run the alert with 40+ characters and only 2 Failed to get credit. Pretty good
in THIS rotation, the bug has returned, I had 5 failed character runs, 2 of which failed to get credit twice! that effected the whole PUG it wasn't just me
Firewalls get Immune with the use of CC (and paired with Debuffs)
Sleep, Paralyze, Stun and possible more CC effects make the Active Firewalls IMMUNE to all damage! Paired with SPEC Triggering Debuffs
Another frustating bug which can trap the whole team inside the firewalls if the players who spam CC don't stop
Even
Disoriented seems to cause this Immunity
Energy Builders and Debuffs don't work on Firewalls
Just... why? why are the firewalls tagged as objects?
The Firewalls are marked as objects, your energy builder won't give you any energy back
Also, many DoTS/Debuffs won't apply on Firewalls, like
FEAR and
NEGATIVE IONSData Probes are knockable and can be Repelled
At his 2/3 HP, Cybermind summons Coloured-Coded Drones!
Those drones are 100% Knockable, and a player with big Knock power can sent them to the Ceiling where they won't return (unless you exploit their stupid A.I and go out of their range)
They seem to have 0 Repell resistance as well
Worst case Scenario: a Pug with only melee players! one player use Roomsweeper and sents the Drones out of range!
The drones refuse to come down from the ceiling, nobody reach to attack them! GAME OVER
Suggestion: Make the Drones Knock-Immune
Attacks visuals are drowning the floor tiles - Flashfire (to a small degree, but mutliply Flashfires)
- Fissure (RANK 3)
- Endbringer's Grasp
- Quicksand
- Possible more
- *NEW* Hydra
Those powers are Hiding the Tile Visuals, Extremely dangerous since if you won't see Cybermind's Melee Tile in time
Why Cybermind's melee tile is so important? If nobody is on his melee range, he spams Knocks to the range players, knocking them to the Data Drain storm
The Final Room Lockdown
anyone can enter, rush in the boss the lock the entirly team out!
There is no Room Lockdown Cooldown like the Teleios Ascendant boss rooms
A Troll, a Newbie, a Griefer, a Solo Elitist, your Idiot friend,
LEEROY JENKINS can ruin the team and lock everyone out just like that!
Suggestion: Improve the lockdown in a way to make sure that everyone in the team is inside the room BEFORE the battle starts! Make the instant Teleport on lockdown the Warlord alert has! It will be Extremely useful
Colourblind players cannot do the alert
I had been PUGed with players who are Colourblind, they cannot see the colours for the Puzzel
Suggestion: Mark the Colours on the Map and MiniMap with special Icons
Those Icon can be the Colours' first letter or Greek Letters
Socrates "Tutorial" is not Helpful at all
Its lackluster, nobody will learn about the strategy unless someone else tell them or have watched it before
Suggestion: Add Cybermind Explanation with
VISUALS PICTURES During the Loading screen AND During the Cutsence where Socrates "Explains"
Disconnected, Reconnected and Trapped:
If you get Disconnected from the alert and come back, you will be trapped in the same room with Dr.Silverback for the rest of the alert! No way to reunite with your team
Unlimited Buffing
The enemy mobs on the alert can apply buffs to each other and debuffs to players
However, those Buffs are not capped and even the extra summoned viruses can apply those buffs, making the Mobs' DPS output incredibly silly for a non boss enemy
The 4th Wall won't protect you from FATAL ERROR
There is a chance that during Cybermind Fight, your game will CRASH. Followed with Crash Report

The recent change on Bosses removed the attack/debuffs Visuals from Bosses, including Cybermind's Avatar Form!

I was on Easter Holiday vacations, with my famiily, the whole Cybermind week and missed his Rotation (as well as million Questionite from Vigilance from my Alts...)
Look like i would still manage to fail the alert judging from the broken Queue bug

Known Issues:
- The Credit Bug STILL exist, but this rotation it was too kind... at least with me!
I run this alert with 45 character. 44 Successful Full Credit runs and only 1 Failed one, and
Got Credit both for Vigilance and Fatal Error: RAID Array

-THE FIREWALLS ARE STILL GETTING IMMUNE TO CROWD CONTROL/DEBUFFS and apparently this includes Dissoriented from the MIND AT

I got stucked in plenty of runs during the Firewall phase because a Crowd Control (usually Mind) REFUSED to stop spamming CC on the walls! and instead of stop using CC he LEFT the queue! thanks for nothing
Also the walls STILL are being tagged as objects, none of the energy builder generate energy! GG Game Breaking bugs right in the start of the alert
WORTH MENTIONING: only if you use Manipulator and CC specs the CC will make them immune
like Sonic Arrow, its innate CC wont make them immune, but if you use manipulator and specs! IT WILL

Using Hypervoice on them WASN'T such a good idea, since they dont even seem to resist

Also, WHY is the second secondary tile ALWAYS on the opposite side of the colour pillar? what's the point? you will waste time to get there when you can just stand on the tile in front of the pillar

put a 10 seconds delay before the room get locked out, the current mechanic is freaking awful and allows Griefing, Trolling and outright stupidity
You can fix all the Glitches and Exploites in the game, but you cannot fix Human Idiocy

so now that enemy powers got update, Cybermind gives this annoying plasma DoT as well, interupting the Ressurection powers! Groovy
Problems that make the game un-fun are not getting fixed.
Trust me if something YOU do had an extra dot, it would be quickfixed overnight.
1) Data probes and knockback. I like to think of this as a training exercise for all those people who spam their annoying knockback powers freely. In most cases, your knockback powers are annoying the rest of your group and making things take longer by kicking things out of the aoestorm cluster. In this fight, you're actually helping the probes avoid your melee party members. Be smarter with your knockbacks and this won't be a problem. Also, it's worth noting that ranged attacks with nailed to the ground will bring them back down.
2) Firewalls and energy builders. It's stupid, I agree, but you can sort of get around it by using an energy builder on the virus mobs that spawn in the middle of the room, topping your energy off while you wait for the rotation to get back to the wall everyone's focusing down (usually the first one in the series). Also, energy returns from energy unlocks and forms do work, and those are what people should be relying on for energy in most cases anyway.
3) Ground effects blocking out Cybermind's tile. I realize this is pretty obvious, but if you have a power that you know can block tiles in this manner, then don't use that power. The encounter won't fail to complete just because you held off on using your endbringer's grasp. At the very least, since his attacks are on something of a timer, hold off on using these powers when the tiles are about to light up. Play smart.
4) Final room lockout. I'm actually glad this works the way it does, and I wish more things in CO had this to discourage the typical kekeke zerg rush mentality that people in this game seem to have.
5) "Unlimited buffing" effect. While I like the idea that this can make for more challenging enemies, it's important that the devs realize that people as low as level 20 are able to queue for this. Maybe these debuffs need to be reexamined, as well as the encounter as a whole, because as things stand now, a team of level 20s is going to fail at this encounter due to poor scaling and poor tuning.
6) Other than that, I agree that the following really need to be addressed:
- Completion not always awarding credit: This is a pretty big bug...a "fatal error" if you will. Why is this not a high priority fix?
- Colorblind issues. This is something those of us with full-color vision tend to forget about, but it's very much a thing. There should be some visual indicator beyond color to let players know which color is lit up. Maybe different symbols on each tile as well as the colors, and corresponding symbols hovering in the buff columns.
- Dr Silverback's room after disconnect/reconnect. There should be a way to talk to Dr Silverback to get back in. I have no idea why there isn't.
Anyway, about to do cybermind on my army of characters, so...here's hoping for the best.
Previously we worked around all the bugs with self-rez devices and the like, but now they've all been nerfed/limited, there's nothing to stop this being the most vexing encounter in the whole of CO.
One thing I don't understand about Firewalls becoming Immune to CC is WHY Ego Blast is able to make them immune as well, is it the Disoriented debuff?

This alert is getting more corrupted per run
Walls Regen ONLY if nobody attacks the current active firewall
Pets Attacking the black walls Does Nothing
Players who do nothing until the walls rotate however do more harm
a lot of players seem to think that attacking black walls trigger the Regen, They DON

of course now you need to deal damage to Cybermind to get credit, so Healers beware, you better have attacks to spam on cybermind, even Energy Builders
also the alert was made Anti-leech, so Don't even think about dying on purpose and waiting outside the room the entire battle to get Free Credit (YES i have seen people doing that on purpose, multiply times) Nah ha this won't work now
I believe you need to deal damage during all cybermind Phases to get credit
I suggest you having Self Heal powers/Devices if there is no healer/tank on the alert
However other issues haven't been fixed

So far I got 1 run which I DIDN'T got credit
I did damage against cybermind during all phases, during the last phase I didn't pay attention to his colour and got one-shot
It turns out despite I had been tanking and DPSing him only to die to the very end and I was REMOVED from the score board
It's not like the cosmics scoreboard system which penaltize you by removing points, this one complety whiped out
so recovering and getting locked out of the room complety removes your from mission credit, propably done as Anti-Leeching mechanic,
but if you die at the very end, nobody can ressurect you and hit recovered you are screwed
this is pretty unfair
Frankly, I've given up on this one myself, and by extension, Vigilance. Too long, too unfun.

I wasn't the only one, a different melee character failed to get credit after being KO'ed in the first round. He couldn't come back in either.
No comment on my Blade alt as I was too annoyed to bother.
Is this the only major alert to penalize KOs by removing you from a scoreboard and preventing you from getting rewards? Even Forum Malvanum and Hi Pan don't do that.

As you can read this update added better Scoreboard mechanic as well as boosting the Loot table (which is GREAT for increasing people interest running the alert outside the Vigilance daily)
Im still on my first character page, not many runs to report, so far the same bugs, Immuned CCed walls, Locked out mechanics that can be griefed e.t.c
and the fact i get SO MANY HORRIBLE PUGS
BUG: Cybermind sometimes will summon Data Drain Rain DURING the Drone phase
Attacks on the Firewalls frequently attack a different wall than the one you click on.
The color buffs in Cybermind's room do not always work. You can be glowing the correct color from immediately walking through the buff and standing on the correct tile and still die from the data storm. Also, trying to get a new color does not always work (you can be yellow from one cycle, and need blue the next cycle, but running through blue does not give you blue, you just stay yellow).
When you die, you generally cannot leave the respawn room at all (this is not getting stuck behind the door to the current room, this is literally being stuck in the respawn room and not allowed to leave)
If you are dead for the finish you do not get credit. It does not matter if you do damage in every phase.
If you respawn and are locked out of the room, you do not get credit. It does not matter if you do damage in every phase.
This means that if you die and nobody helps you, you are unable to get credit for the mission at all. So that essentially means that if you die at all you get zero credit because I have yet to see anyone ever give or offer help.
This also means that if you die, you can't get credit for the related Alert mission either. I have yet to successfully ever complete this mission, despite that it is a level 20 mission. This should probably be a much higher level mission.
The colour buff PREVENTS you from getting any other colour for 30 seconds

Assuming there's no tank in a PUG and just a healer with the others being DPS, the healer seems to get picked off very early in my experience even with NO challenging strikes/threat generation bonuses.

This is a bug where the game is having you attack a different target than the one you have targeted. I am not talking about within 30 seconds. I am not talking about knockback.
The full cycle is long enough to allow changing colors, but it still does not always work.
Neither change dying from data storm while yellow and standing on a yellow square.
