Silver players still cannot tint non-device powers by any means, and it seems to be not in their schedule to investigate this issue.
It's not an issue it's actually by design. If you want to be able to tint your powers, then sub up. It's as simple as that. Show support for the game.

Support also states, that you have to sub to have access to Freeforms, Adventure Packs and no cash cap. That info is outdated.

That does not make it not by design. There is nothing to 'investigate' for power tinting for silvers: it doesn't work because it's not intended to work.
Does anything but the SVs have NTTG? They're low end of boss. In any case, to solo these things: target the spawner, pop an active defense, kill spawner, then kill associated mobs.
Depends on the portal you pick, I think. That strategy worked on one portal, but the Nightmare Demolishers normally get in there first, and once you've been knocked/held it's bouncy ball time. Good fun, but not that simple.
Subscribers get color tinting, silvers do not. The relative merits of that system notwithstanding, it is an entirely intentional design choice, not a bug to be fixed.
I really like the design on the Rocker AT, although I notice that he still has the default heavy weapon skin. I'd suggest changing that to the freebie axe instead.
Suggestion: could one or several of the guitars be added as a skin for the hoverboard power? As it stands, the rocker seems like a slightly lackluster lockbox, abd I feel like this would help it. I also would not be opposed to a harley esque hoverbike as a vehicle choice.
Also: Could we get a less "metal" guitar to use? The one the Rocker has on his back would be nicely appropriate,
