Updated today to version 1.5. Whats new: Increased the size of the smaller ice elementals (there is a bug that won't let me reduce the size of the hit box). Added platforms to certain areas of the elemental plane of fire to make falling into the lava a little harder to do by the doors Tweaked the quest text in certain…

In my quest, the Planar Rescue, my elemental plane of fire severely (and obviously) suffers from this at times. You can see the fire pop in and out in some places.
Here is a video review of one of the older versions of my quests. One of the main differences is the elemental plane of air, which now has a few more encounters and a bunch of wind vortex type effects. http://youtu.be/bznJhrxX1XQ Thanks to caskuk for all the effort he put into making the video review!
Thanks for the all the work put into that video review! My quest has actually been updated a bit since you ran that. My elemental plane of air has a bit of a different look - I added some effects to make it look like there are wind vortexes. I also expanded the encounters a bit in that part.
This. As a new foundry author I am already finding it impossible to get my quests past the first 20 reviews. Putting us into a sub forum would make an already difficult process impossible.
The problem is that the higher level the player, the harder the foundry quests get. Level 60's have a hard time with quests that level 10's can breeze through. This "uneven" scaling is probably why people are giving you down ratings on the combat. I wouldn't be surprised if the down ratings are from level 60's. Your…
I had some issues in The Hands of Jorath with sound. Here is what I discovered about interior maps: The layout sounds are audible from the next room over - don't use them for music. MANY of the FX objects have a sound. Rain, snow, wind, waterfalls, fire, dynamic light braziers. All of these things make noise and contribute…
Awesome! I can't wait to see your video review. I actually changed part of the quest since you went through it. I made the plane of air a little longer and tweaked some of the background debris. When I did my play through I felt it was the shortest/most lacking of the zones I created.
Hmm, I wonder if its because I was publishing a change to the quest when they reviewed/played it. Would that affect things? I have been tweaking things, mostly aesthetics, on an ongoing basis. Currently, for example, I am trying to improve my elemental plane of air. I just don't like how air came out overall, trying to…
I noticed that I have two reviews in the feedback spreadsheet. However, in-game my quest only has 1 review and 2 plays. It should have a third play because the first one was myself testing the map. The only review in-game was from @avistar001. Not sure what happened to the other review.
Just finished it. I love it. I can't wait to see what you do with the second part. I like extra-planar quests :) The environments were really good, but there were two small things I noticed: No music. The forest could have used music more than the caves. The caves you had a lot of atmospheric sounds, which when combined…
It seems to be near impossible to get people to try new quests. There should be a daily quest for beta testing new quests rather than just rewarding people for playing "established" quests. I understand why they don't give out eligibility right away, it would be easily abused. It just seems that the current system is a…
