i personally would just stick with the vorp, well, actually, i'd sell them all and buy a P. Vorp + rank 9/10's, or P vorp + P plaguefire, just to use on one of your other characters like your gf or something.
I'll have to show you my GF and TR, as i'm effective in dungeons on both of those character as well as any other. As tank you have to be the leader of the group and just run ahead of everyone, and just jump into mobs, your group will arrive not long after, and by then you'd already have aggro. The "uselessness" of GF's in…
Yep, exactly it. That's why I say it depends on the play style, and who the person playing is. It's just too bad you can't know who's good and who's not until you're already partied, because gs is just about the biggest lie in this game.
Just because you can't beat them doesn't mean everyone else can't either. Not saying I can beat them, but I wouldn't know til i tried. Pvp any class is easy to beat. GWF single target is debateable, all depends on the person behind the screen. More than usual I can take aggro from them easy in boss fights, unless they're…
I find it funny how people always talk about how easy it is to play the GWF class... CW is no harder. It all depends on the person. GWF's these days are so bad at dps/tank/surviving... it'll only get worse in mod 4. I don't remember the last time I saw a good gwf. CW's aren't far off.. I see a lot of baddies nowadays. And…
Even though gwf's got buffed they're still significantly weaker than Mod 2 Gwf. In Mod 2 my gwf with rank 7's and a regular Vorpal was out dpsing, out tanking, 15k-17k gs'd gwfs in t2.5. It all depends on the skill of the player. I was only 14k gs doing all that. But as soon as Mod 3 hit, just the regular Vorpal wouldn't…
I'm a pure pve TR and I have never been beaten by an HR, and i'm melee specced. These days I even beat CW's and Gwf's in damage. It really all just depends on the play style. My survivability is good too, and i don't build tanky or use impossible to catch, just dodge and more dodge. I have all damage powers in use. And…
Wow, i did not know that about wicked reminder, I knew it hit more than one mob, but never knew it was unlimited targets. I only ever used it for boss battles for debuff. Otherwise i run with PoTB, Lashing, and Blitz, ever since i started using these powers I have been beating gwfs and some cw's. I will try out wicked…
getting the Horn, purely pve so it'll be great. The DF buff will be great. That, and the base stats. Can't go wrong with armor pen. Crit is nice too, but 50% chance is good enough, i actually want less crit now, lol. The talon is great too though, I can imagine PS rogues being EXTRA annoying in pvp now.
i'll assume all prices of gf will pop up, so making an investment might be good, but for now we don't really know what gear will be the best "go-to" gear. Like GWF it's Avatar, so everything avatar is super pricey, for TR it's swashbuckling, so everything swash is super pricey, etc etc. But for GF, I don't think the mass…
I might try out reflect build in Mod 4 with it bumping up to 15%. Currently i'm running a group buffer/moderate dps. Using the t1 set that gives group members 15% power and 25% defense, that way if i don't take adds off of them, at least they'll have better survivability. It says 25% chance for powers, but atm, it procs…
Doesn't affect me, i only guard big attacks anyways, otherwise i can sustain health via powers/pots and tank lard mobs fine. But draining energy while lifting a shield up would be realistic i suppose, cause you can't just hold a shield up forever, especially shields as big as the one i got, haha.
Guard should have a default reflect, like a spike kind of effect that damages foes to "taunt" them in a way to gain better aggro. Or if they go the dps route, give them a Dual wield route or something.
I'm not too lucky on getting good loots so still getting my companions slowly, but atm I am using Galeb Duhr, Stone of Radiance, (these next ones are just to fill spots til i get better), Renegade Illusionists, rat thief, traveling entertainer. But I am looking at the dancing sword that gives crit severity, a dog for…
Paragon/Feats/Powers/Rotation: Paragon Choice: I think both choices are debatable to be the same DPS wise. But that is it. I would recommend you to be Iron Vanguard, and as I am an Iron Vanguard, this guide will be based around that. The reason why I recommend IV is because of its versatility. The skillsets given by it…
I Know, I'm Uploading it pass the time limit, But I figured since I already took them, I might as well share the screenshots I took! They were all taken during the New Artifact quest. There's 8 pictures here, but of course, if I was able to post on time, I would've debated which two to post, but enjoy! [IMG][/img]…
is deep gash still good to take? I stupidly didn't test my old build before respeccing... but i've fallen behind in millions of damage in dungeons now without it.
