Seems like people have hope at each mod release... Then lose hope after a month of it...

I lost my hope long time I go. I don't even seriously PvP or PvE any more, just sitting in PE listening to my friend's grumbling and hoping the situation to change in m4.

Oh well, I am gonna switch to SW permanently in any case. Already got everything possible to get for that, so bye bye TR ._. Was fun playing combat TR in PvP...

What I see is a rogue trying to be a fighter which he is not, A Great weapon fighter deals damage to many targets, the guardian fighter holds aggro and defends the squishes, The control wizard locks things down and deals damage and helps the other classes in a fight. the Hunter ranger can melee if need be but is only a back up fighter and has to keep moving to stay alive "this is the case with most classes but the guardian fighter who holds his ground". If you want to attack multiple targets then play a GWF, rogues are as the name implies. They hide and are meant to fight when they have the advantage over there enemy, hitting them in vital areas and from the shadows or hiding. A class thats not in the game which sounds like what your trying to do is play an assassin they play like a cross between a rogue and a melee ranger a light armed fighter who shadow steps around. The only advice I can give is play up the class with the abilities and its strengths, one power does not a class make.

Whirlwind of blades should be next, its crazy op deals 30k crits in pvp can one shot whole team at once .needs a dmg nerf
and should be only single target coz its so op.
shocking execution dmg is fine now but players should be able to dodge.
and plz cut the ap gain from bait its crazy op people are just spamming dailys.
courage breaker is clearly broken coz it works to good on gwf.
they should move just as fast only deal less dmg

I really, really hope this is sarcasm and the only reason I am hoping so is from the red section. If you are being serious, then wow.

He's almost certainly being serious, the sheer demented ridiculousness of TR hate on these is disgusting and sadly real.
Largely inactive, playing Skyforge as Nai Calus.

Well, he may go get stuffed then. I am sure all those guys that won't leave the game after TR gets nerfed into the ground will start playing PvP HRs and GWFs and then we will see whom he is gonna hate most.

wow... didn't even knew that this skill was AoE (was always using daze and blitz as AoEs and WR on bosses since I though it was ST), well we learn something new everyday
(too bad on the nerf though)

To the person that said WR is being nerfed because target caps on other skills are at 8 targets.
THE GF has a target cap of 20 with some of their skills, so this is not the reason for the nerf.

What does NERF actually mean? I know the application of it and the meaning - I mean the actual words it is representing.
Nerf just comes from the line of foam rubber toys, often in the form of weapons. A nerf sword is just a piece of foam rubber in the form of a sword, for instance. It's really hard to hurt someone with it. The gaming term comes from that, the devs are taking away a good weapon (for instance) and replacing it with a toy one.

No the real reason for the nerf was the the AP generation in addition to it not having a target cap.

the 20 target cap of GF's enforced threat was newly made. They reduced target caps for a lot of people a good number of patches ago, and still doing so with CW's.

    makes sense....
they could just limit the ap gain per per target not total targets to be hit..

In that case the nerf is warranted, yes. But the problem is, as always, they've just simply nerfed it in the most stupidest way possible.

They could simply implement a diminishing return on AP generation based on number of targets hit, so the AP gain curve would be close to nil if it goes over, let's say - 5 targets... the same principle could also be applied to how Action Rush works in the same situation.

Instead, they just chop off whatever they see as a problem.

Basically, up to date, the way Cryptic's been balancing stuff out, is like a 19th century battle field operation. A surgeon sees someone with arm or leg wounds, just simply bring a saw and amputate it.

(...except for GWFs. In this case, they amputate something, and then replace it with a Iron Man™[/ㅑ] grade cybernetic prosthetic limb..)

Remember they did the same thing to Shoxecution. The problem was not the damage, but rather the inevitability. All they needed to do was maybe slightly (15~20%) nerf the damage and then allow it to be dodged. Instead, they just hack the damage off so it becomes mediocre.... (and then, resurrects the potency and gives it to GWFs as an encounter... unbelievable..)
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Yeah I exactly agree and been saying that for the longest, they have the most absurd ways of nerfing things I've ever seen.

Wow, i did not know that about wicked reminder, I knew it hit more than one mob, but never knew it was unlimited targets. I only ever used it for boss battles for debuff. Otherwise i run with PoTB, Lashing, and Blitz, ever since i started using these powers I have been beating gwfs and some cw's. I will try out wicked reminder before it gets nerfed to see if it's better. Might be tough though, with the positioning, plus not much cw's sing these days, so adds are never as bunched up as that video. Interesting though... =D
