nothing changed really when you think about it, what if the rogue dagger didnt drop, but a mage weapon dropped instead. the mage would be able to roll need. you still only have 1/5 chance of getting the item regardless of this system or the old - granted that the boss has an item for each class on their loot table.

from what ive seen rogues have the highest dps. cw second, closely followed by GF on AoE fights. i have yet to see a GWF do more dmg than the above classes this is going by the built in damage parsing.

I had a pug grp of 2 groups with me in a lvl 30 dungeon, they both died to some spinning blade trap that was in the ground. dont rogues see all traps? real sad.
not exactly true..you an cash in in Dota2 which is supposedly in Closed Beta, same with mechwarrior online, smite...pretty much any game in beta at the moment.
To me this is the only true pay-to-win part of the game and the most off-putting. I'm surprised this topic is not discussed instead of mounts, enchants, companions which are all trivial in comparison. The same thing in Diablo 3, why work for the gear when you can just buy the very best off the AH?
TRs have a very obvious animation (jumps into the air with both weapons at their sides) that telegraphs that they are about to use their daze ability. You can dodge or block this ability. once I learned this, fights vs them became much easier. hope this helps.
I find it wierd how no one mentions the only real pay-to-win aspect of this game, and that is the purchase of end game gear through the AH because everything seems to be bind on equip. To me that would cheapen the endgame experience more than any mount, companion, enchant etc..
I think the only pay to win aspect of this game has not been discussed by the threads you guys have created... and that is how all gear is bind on equip. To me that is the biggest flaw of this game and really cheapens the end game experience. Not mounts, not companions, not bag slots...
