Do youguys want a player base or not? With all the game options out there people are not going to stay here for any length of time once they realize what they are going to have to do. The bald truth is people want to feel like they can progress. The % of people who want it all is pretty small but in general very few are…
...The original post, I believe, was commenting on the difficulty for new players to establish a 'toe hold' on the game economy in it's current form.... This. I am having fun, don't get me wrong but I see a ton of stuff out of my reach.
The ah like all the other games requires starting capitol. I was surprised to find out just how much content uses unique currencies instead of the "normal" coins. The problem at the ah is all you can use there is AD and as a starting player getting enough AD to make a difference is skewed.
Turbine lets you pay a monthly subscription that earns you stuff as you pay and also opens up zones and things that the sub is handling. But then you can also pay to unlock stuff with out having to pay a subscription fee to get it. So balancing a subscription and using in game currency to unlock content becomes the focus.
Happened to me. Are you less level then the dungeon requires? I went into crypts below 25 and it said I am fighting at level 25. The chest didn't sparkle fo me. Now that I am 37 I can use the key. I just assumed since it was upping level the chest was defunct
It's all good. No harm no foul. I am a little put out but it's not that big a deal yet. I am a min/max'r and to know I messed up some feats is irritating is all. I will mention the lack of mod6 info on class guides is too bad.
So yes basic key. And I am running the 3 person dungeon. That is the one where the chest wasn't even sparkly. I could understand the chest being sparkly but not able ooen it, just like when you don't have a kit on the chests all over the place.
