Well he won't give a quest, just saying "1. Neverwinter needs your help", in the map he is listed as a future quest giver.

Purchase Founder's Pack, that is what I did. The Guardian one is what $59 which is the price of a normal game on launch day, since this is a free to play game, feel free to give the developer's and such your support. The game is fun, and I loved the balance they did on daily/encounter powers.

The only reason the Drow live to about 500 was due to their houses getting destroyed and battles taking their lives, not to mention how easy it is to loose Lloth's favor, in which someone takes the blame and either gets thrown into the drider pits or is torchered until they finally give out and die after being torchered…
