  • Yep. Getting dev HAMSTER in your face for a year + takes it's toll, as does feeling like a 5th wheel constantly. Also, most people prefer to play a class where the whole of the group, including the DC (and probably the opposition) don't literally groan with despondant resignation if there happens to be more than one of…
  • You might want to look into Fox Shift getting characters stuck in walls etc. I've had this happen to me so many times, often irreversibly (ie /killme time).
  • Yep. Same here. Just spent the whole of the 30 minute FC/DK window looking at this message. This is a months old bug. Not the first time it's happened to me and not the first time it's been reported but I guess Cryptic are just too busy coming up with ways to make as many people as possible buy respec tokens in mod 4, to…
  • Bump. Still a problem .. and not a minor one.
  • Then I guess Holy Resolve is 5 x more of a waste by that logic? The same kind of logic that makes DCs choose Burning Guidance based purely on it's proc rate. Granted, Thayan Bastion's bonus is paltry but it is still some extra damage reduction. Rampaging madness - if you're near or at 10% regen, then that part of it is…
  • The problem is that everything is designed around damage and killing. It's the same with most of the pvp tasks. A certain kind of DC should have no problem with the campaign stuff. My dps DC could fly through solo stuff as fast as my CW (sometimes faster). My tanky/healy DC, well yea .. it's a chore. Quests that require…
  • 1: Burning Guidance is HAMSTER. I'm amazed so many DCs take it tbh. I used to take Rampaging Madness, it's decent for the power and regen. Now I just take Thayan Bastion. 2: No experience of BI gear but MH vs Profound is about even. You will have to work a bit harder with MH is all. Having said that, depending on your Wis…
  • Well, I dunno what sort of problems you're having with it but for me, I can cast it even after a snare (say from a hr) has been applied and it will remove all but the graphical effect leaving me immune and able to move around unencumbered. Of course it's situational and tbh I'm not completely sold on it but I wouldn't say…
  • Actually I think Bronzewood is in fact just a straightforward flat 16% damage increase (at perfect). So while still debatably useless for a dc, my cw rather likes it. Also, on the subject of MH set since I see a lot of "high end" dcs rocking this atm. In pms with a good group perhaps it is currently the best choice since…
  • I don't think it's completely useless. The cc immunity part is useful for taking flags. It gives you precious seconds to set up defenses/buff etc without being rooted/strangled/punted/dazed/whatever. It's AoE damage has some utility. The extra power it gives is nice for any accompanying melee. However the small radius…
  • Ok, so today I had a Virgin tech around after support told me my power levels were a bit off. Not that this was affecting anything else. Anyway, long story short: new modem, correctly atttenuated, clean bill of health blah de blah ... problem still ocurring. Only with NW, I have these issues. On top of this I had a crash…
  • Including a lot of DCs ... = / I still get the old "blue or not at all" bs thrown at me from dcs ... as if the piddly little heal is the important bit ... as if we have an encounter that is just a decorative circle if isn't blue ... Anyhoo, imo 1. Cleanse 2. I'd tentatively say Elven out of those (I am currently trying it)…
  • Well, I'm still getting these "server not responding" and disconnects very regularly (practically all the time), when I move instance, go through gate, leave dungeon/pvp etc. I'm pretty sure now it's nothing to do with Virgin or my connection. Anyway, I tried EU proxy - what a joke. Aside from not having to wait 5 secs to…
  • Well, I've spent the last hour or so trying to get open dns to work with no joy. The settings just don't take and a quick gander at the opendns forums shows that the virgin superhub is likely the culprit. Indeed, I can't find anywhere in the superhub settings to enter the open dns details. Changing the superhub to modem…
  • Yep. Virgin here too. Generally, after changing character or going through a gate/changing instance. Latency, rubberband, server not responding, time outs etc etc. Same time frame as you ie last few days or so. I know they're upgrading connections in some areas. A customer rep advised there might be some service problems…
  • Tenacity from Vital Belt of Smiting doesn't seem to be counting on preview. DC cycle of change re-work seems backwards. Offensive encounters give life stacks and protective encounters give death stacks. If this is intended please confirm so.
  • Thnx This is on use of daily btw, not all the time and it's allies not just summoner. It basically happens once per daily as long as those dailys are 30 secs or more apart.
  • Has anyone tried tenacity gear on their stone? Maybe this has been asked and I missed it but does it count as an augment stat in this new zone? I would hope not since only dcs have access to the icon. I haven't been in that zone to test, sorry.
  • If you want damage all you need is high prophet set. I stripped my hp set dps/burst dc (chains/glow/daunting) of all enchants, most of which were armour pen and it's now relegated to just grinding dailys and guess what ... it's damage/kill speed is hardly affected at all. Power's pretty meh as well. Just get your cooldowns…
  • My point was that surely it should be damage encounters that give death stacks and protective encounters that give life stacks. Not the other way around as it is currently.
  • Well, I just had another quick blast with this and it seems to me that currently it's backwards. Using heal encounters gives stacks of death which provide the damage boost on punishing light, clearly seen in the combat log. For example [20:17] [Combat (Self)] Your Cycle of Change deals 2278 Radiant to Target Dummy Using…
  • Thanks for clearing up stack duration. Haven't had time to go on and check. 30 secs is pretty generous. As for the idea of faster ticks. I think I'd prefer the extra burst over that tbh, just a bit more of it (or maybe both :D). This makes more sense to me, especially with SL and desperate renewal. PL will will become a…
  • Well sunburst is classed as a heal encounter since it heals both in and out of dvine mode. Forgemaster's isn't, although ironically it's one of our best heals in divine mode. Without hopping on to check I'd safely assume that SB = SL stacks. FF is definitely PL stacks from my playing with it earlier. I very much doubt…
  • It's basically Lightning Fury from diablo ii ... except with a hit limit and no where near as many combat scenarios (moooo!) to make it at all valuable.
  • xD That does change things slightly although it also kinda demotes the "damage" path a bit too. One thing I noticed that I didn't mention is that the new stacks don't seem to drop off or have a duration. So if you're so single minded as to either slot solely damage encounters or solely healing encounters then you can…
  • Having thought about it a bit, it does remove the need to use Seal to efficiently give a high uptime on stacks, allowing for an at will more in line with that path (ie LoF). Maybe I retract the slap for that but as for the rest of it, my hand remains poised.
  • Show me where I advocated using it in a build? I merely clarified it's mechanics vis a vis the tooltip after you accused someone of exploiting tab because you had no idea how the feat actually worked.
