at-wills do take advantage of buffs such as aspect of the serpent and have bonus damage based on things like the artifact weapon or full grand warden set. you usually don't use at-wills much (especially in pirate king) but when you run out of hindering shot charges that's around the time you will lose some DPS if you don't…
i'd take HR out of that sentence because with the way stealth & dodge rolling works in this game we literally can't root a good TR. biting snares doesn't even activate half the time when i hit a rogue with CA a split second before he stealths. i have hit invisible rogues many times with hindering strike and unless the…
Oh I thought that was for mending wounds. That bug is pretty crazy, it's weird that your melee encounters are still getting the cd reduction especially with how you've tried respeccing feats & all that. I'm surprised the cd reduction isn't broken entirely.
Hmm one strange thing I noticed in the video is that you have a persistent campfire buff to the left of your Deft Strikes buff. For a good portion of the video you can see it shows you have 2 campfire buffs (that persistent one + the normal one to the right on the buff list). That indicates an injury right? I wish I could…
the thing is there's no easy way to "try" having 40k hp. the investment you need to pull it off is huge. but hey, lets give the benefit the doubt and say i try having 40k hp. Let me tell you guys a story (this is based on real pvp experience as a Hunter Ranger): *** Match starts. I run and cap home. I then start to push…
but on the pc "since mod 1" you had a bunch of campaigns and boons and gear that is not currently available on the xbox 1 version. you can't even get those numbers on the xbox 1 without all possible gear maxed to orange and/or a ton of primary stats sacrificed into CON. The only person I've met with close to 40k hp that…
- Look at the scoreboard when the game starts and count how many TRs there are. (seriously) - Keep Fox's Cunning up even when not in combat if you know a TR is alive and don't know where he is (the buff lasts ~12 seconds which is pretty long). - Lantern artifact isn't horrible if you don't have an actual good one (like…
it takes ultra pay-2-win gear to even come close to 35k hp on an HR and the 2% bonus is from the full profound set, which even I don't have yet. otherwise you're sacrificing either crit or dex for CON and that's a pretty huge waste (on HR) since deflect and damage is the best possible defense. i rather go all deflect with…
Hindering shot (or any move with charges) is currently bugged with our feat for CD reduction which means that eventually you will hit a point where you need some at-wills to fill in the small gaps in the rotation to make up for only having two ranged encounters while HS is on 0 charges and doesn't refill early like it…
spellstorm renegade is actually considered the best cw option on xbox right now and is what the top pvp cw's run as their path. archery conflicts with our class mechanic which is why it doesn't work. it's not about "what most consider the best" but "why". of course you should play what you enjoy, but i believe the OP was…
rayrdan is correct. archery doesn't work especially in pvp because if playing against good people they can and will jump in on you and ruin any range bonus you need as a base for your dps. aimed shot is too slow to be viable against someone good as you will get interrupted and wrecked before you can even react. our class…
I've played against very good TR's (alysin chains / fappy gilmore / skill) and HP was never the reason I lost in a fight to them, it was either I was just short the damage to finish them off or I got owned in general by a good daze combo or use of stealth. I don't get one-shot by anything either, so I don't see having more…
Speaking from my own pathfinder trapper point of view... hp isn't as important as dealing damage when it comes to hunter. I usually lose fights because I can't burst the rogue / healer fast enough, not because I couldn't take an extra hit from them. I think hunters that don't try to maximize their damage are actually…
i don't think you understand that hindering shot is bugged with our CD reduction feat and goes down to 0 charges even when there should be 2 or more (after you shoot the first 3 off). i am extremely fast with going through the rotation, which is why i notice this so much. i can make a video to illustrate this later. trust…
i'm a pathfinder trapper, so no access to stormstep action. it's only in extended fights where you can really notice it, most of the time i never use at-wills either (besides careful attack on bosses or something).
that doesn't make up the gap when hindering shot runs out of charges. the daily doesn't reduce the melee cooldowns so you will always be a second or two off at some point when disruptive is still on CD.
The grandwarden set is better IMO. There's no point for the royal guard set because if you do your rotations right as a pathfinder trapper then 95% of the time your encounters will be reset by the time you switch to the next stance anyway. You just need around 1,000 - 1,200 recovery (something like that) and not make…
Not at all. Yes. Yes. Warlocks need all the help they can get. Not at all. Not at all fair. Soulforged especially gives such an advantage against those who don't have it that I'd say it's game-changing. Sure, you can beat people that have it if you massively outplay them. I could beat people 2 on 1 while at 5% hp if I…
I think two fixes that SHOULD ALREADY BE THERE are: 1) You cannot kick other players while in combat 2) You cannot kick other players after the final boss has been defeated That would at least prevent most griefing or "kicking at boss boxes" that I've been encountering lately (where the smaller group of friends guarantee…
I agree Vorpal is going to be more overall DPS simply because this game revolves around mass amounts of adds + trash mobs, and the majority of both die so quickly to burst damage that it's unlikely you can get the full value of plaguefire on them since your party will most likely burst them down before waiting for a…
The key to killing TR's as a HR is to find them before they can do their 1-shot combo on you. I see so many players that just stand still when they cap a point or move in a predictable direction without doing anything to try and reveal them. Once you know a rogue is on the other team you have to use your utilities to…
