I'd like to see them work with WoTC and build their new Dungeon Command line of products into the game. http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Product.aspx?x=dnd/products/dndmin/dungeoncommand It would work well with a cash shop system as well. They could have the mini's and order cards drop during play as random drops and then…
True those issues can prove a limitation at times, though I find them easily enough overcome through simple trinkets and creative application of concepts. In fact, I find myself with a surplus of such trinkets at this very moment. Perhaps you would be interested in this small charm fashioned from the beak of an aarakocra?…
I played wizard back in the day that would pull the teeth from any monsters the group killed. Amazing how often they would came in handy or prove valuable. Which of course had nothing to do with any use of a magic aura spell whatsoever. b:sin
I would also like to see some system in place for that, even if it is just looking for sparkles while adventuring like EQ2 or Rift. Just having the option in the game makes for an added bonus for those of us who like to poke around every nook and cranny of the world.
When I'm not working or running I've rediscovered Netflix. I had really used my account for anything in the last few months but the last couple weeks I've been running through episodes of Alphas, Doctor Who, Murdoch Mysteries & Legend of the Seeker with the free time during the week I would normally spend online.
I think the game will manage to avoid feeling like a grind simply because of the UGC. They already said you'll be able to level to cap playing nothing but Foundry missions, so being able to cap without, in theory, having to repeat a single questline makes for what appears to be a truly unique leveling system for an MMO.…
Assuming that I have launch day off and I'm unfortunate enough that I don't get into beta, I think I'm going to end up making one of each offered ranged class and then sinking an hour or two into each in an attempt to settle into a main. Then I'll roll up placeholder characters to save some names. After that I'll run…
I've picked up 860 Zen so far through surveys, but you're right, I'd say maybe 1 out of 8 actually pays off. I try to do one or two when I'm bored but generally they seem to be a waste of time.
This reads like it was written by someone who really didn't understand the topic trying to reach a minimum wordcount. Muddling through it was good wake-up exercise for the brain though. Wasn't sure at first glance if I didn't get it, or that it actually just didn't make sense in places. +1 PS. Needs to reveal more game…
I'm curious to know if they are going to open the game to custom UI mods. In my experience custom mods solve many quality or life issues and allow for a layer of personal customization that would otherwise not be available. Also, I've yet to see a game that didn't benefit from an outside UI mod to its auction house…
I'm honestly partial to the old goldbox games with Curse of the Azure Bonds being my favorite. I really like the tactical aspect of the combat and still to this day keep an old 486 hooked up in the gameroom so I can play them a few times a year without messing with DOSBox or the like.
I fairly certain it was Lord Nasher in charge of Neverwinter in the old AOL game. I'm not certain where it falls on the timeline though. Here's a site you can mine for more details http://www.bladekeep.com/nwn/index2.htm
