They have a much easier fix. Limit each account to "X" number of AD a week, regardless of how they are earned. You can still collect equipment and other things to sell on the AH, to make more, which requires playing the game.
OK, so I have voiced my opinion, and not provided solutions to the perceived problems. Not good. Anyone can complain and do nothing, providing solutions takes thought. So, after reviewing the reasons for these changes, and their impact on my play, and that of other casual gamer's, I have decided to add some…
You are misinformed. Previous to the recent Bonus AD for doing dailies, a player could in one hour gaming time, get 2 skirmishes and 2 dungeons completed, for approximately 4.5K AD each (4.95K if VIP), or 19K (20.9 if VIP). Now, with this 50% invocation bonus, after 4 hours of invoking, and you play an extra hour, you get…
Exactly. Already, Guildies must spend an hour or so a day, doing dailies, to help the guild advance. Dailies that do not give AD rewards at all. Casual gamer's get the Big Green again!
"panderus said: The reason we made this change was because was saw that Invocation was the largest source of AD that could be generated by not actually playing the game, this is not good. It was very apparent when comparing the PC numbers with what was happening on Xbox, VERY different playstyles but the vast difference…
This was the final straw for me. I now have no reason to make another purchase and support this game. I feel my almost $2K over the last two years, is wasted. I am upside down, due to the amount of money and AD I spent getting all 8 of my characters (One for each class) maxed out in Leadership (90% previous to previous…
One Free Profession Pack, and better hope it contains a Craftsman of one of your three crafts. Even if you get lucky, that still leaves the other to crafts, and all 9 slots..... At 360 hours each....... My hope is the upgrade cost wouldn't be that much, given the amount of time required to get one up to the level…
My proposal allows for the existing White sto be paid for upgrades with real money. That is why I said "or" between Bazaar and Zen market. As it stands, now they are mostly gotten through keys. At between 75 (With 40% off Coupon) and 125 zen each, and you are not ensured to get one every time, and definitely not the one…
If I were ONLY counting on the Dragon Hoard Enchants for stuff, you might have a point. But I, and I doubt, any players do. It is one piece of the puzzle that is advancing in this game. Along with Crafting (Yep, Leadership still helps with up to 6 Resonance and 9 Thaumaturgic Stones a day, or various power (Lesser, Minor…
I would think equipping would make it non-transferable, and could even accept this for Enchants & Runestones. The BoA vs BOC argument has to do with new stuff acquired, and to me, even more important, storage space availability.
Hell, I would have been happy with AD being BtA from Leadership, and limiting the number of characters that can do Crafting to a set number per account. 10 or one per character Class would have been a good start.
Odd, I have all 5 of my current Utility slots filled with 2% & 3% DH's (Total 11%)... I get on average, after only doing my Dailies in SH and the SH Support Quest of the day, about 3-5 White Pearls, 3-5 Peridots, 3-5 Minor Resonance, 1-2 Lesser Resonance, 1-2 Aquamarine, & 1-2 Flawless Sapphires. Oh, and I get about 1…
300K per run, each? And people gripe about Leadership "Armies". Seriously, to get that much AD a day that you can use (Read: Refined), you would need a minimum of 13 Characters doing leadership, and would have to get the 24K AD from each. Leadership tasks that rewarded AD, without prerequisites (District Maps, Mining…

I would add to the list of things to sell: Stables: Allows you to have extra Mounts, that you can freely change between depending on whim. One extra Stall per 200 Zen. For instance: My Paladin could ride the Parade Horse in Protectors Enclave, A Stormraider Clydesdale Overland, and the Winter Sled in Snow. Another…
Love it.. With one caveat, which is counter your caveat. Why should someone know what abilities I have, just because my gear looks a certain way? In a world with Transmute Magic, you can change how anything appears.
Being a IT professional, I understand completely how easy it is to make a mistake when cutting and pasting a script to numerous servers, routers or switches, especially when the script needs to be modified slightly between each. Poor sysadmin caught a hell of a lot of good natured ribbing for that, I am sure. ROFL.
Regenerde said: "Really? Then why are there no leadership armies of botters phasing in and out of PE the whole day at one of campfires/resting areas? Let's face it, the botters make a lot more with just... botting... Ghost Stories around the clock, then with running after 3k rAD per day per character." Two reason off the…
I am actually doing like you do in the Stock Market, acquiring Leadership, and other Crafting Assets, at bargain basement prices, and making the best of Crafting. You can still earn AD through Leadership, but you just have to plan a bit more, and be happy with reduced returns. My plan is to have all Hero's for all my…
As I said in another thread, at less than 1 minute time to change characters, this can be accomplished in less that 4 hours. Beats running around completing all possibly Dungeons, Skirmishes, PvP Matches, and Foundry Mission for a paltry 24K during the same period. Also this doesn't account for scripting the process.
I disagree... History has Japanese Katana's made by Amakune and masamuni for instance... GoT has Valyrian Steel, and the best made by named Tobho Mott. That said, unless it provided something you cannot get from existing loot drops or crafting, then having a name attached is trivial.
Alt Armies is still the easiest way to acquire large amounts of AD. Invoke away baby!.... What do I mean: 10 Alts in under 4 hours time, will get you 30K AD 20 Alts can accumulate 60K AD in the same time. 30 Alts gets you 90K 40 Alts gets you 120K 50 Alts gets you 150K After this, you have to extend time since the login…
Ditto..... I wish it also made sense, and provided materials that were useful for the Character making them while leveling up, and for others. Sadly, by the time you can make Armor +1, yous character is already wearing Armor +4 they found, and almost max level..... The problem with this game? Level advancement too fast +…
Goatshark said: "Leadership, while no longer a major source of AD, is still a good source for XP, Gold, and loot items. All of these things are valuable to regular players, but less so to botters." Let's break that down: XP - You can make 70th level in a few days, even if you are a casual gamer. You get more doing a single…
I was not assuming anything, I was simply adding clarification to the problem with regards Growing. Cryptic had to have known for a while that there was a problem, after all you and others, had addressed this fact shortly after the game first came out. I have often commented on it in the past, to something to the effect of…
I know of a coupe uses where the 11 and 12 rank make a big differences. Any time something adds a better than 10% improvement for a step, it is valuable, and not just showing off....
My main character is a Guardian Fighter, focused on Power, Critical Strike, Armor Penetration and Life Steal. I can do most dailies, and a few Epics, but if you have ever played a GF, they are not mobile, and get easily surrounded. However, in the Well of Dragons, Elemental Evil and Stronghold areas, I still find myself…
